    摘要: A float probe configured to regulate fluid flow into a fluid container is disclosed. The float probe comprises an upper assembly having one or more outlets, a plurality of rods extending from the upper assembly to a lower assembly and a float assembly disposed between the upper assembly and the lower assembly. A first distal end of the rods is coupled to the upper assembly and a second distal end of the rods is coupled to the lower assembly. The rods extend along an outer surface of the float assembly and the float assembly is movable along the rods between a first position proximate to the upper assembly and a second position proximate to the lower assembly. The float assembly prevents fluid flow out of the outlets when disposed in the first position.

    摘要: A filler device for a fluid tank, including: a filler duct; a first stopper, for preventing overfilling of the tank, and a second stopper for preventing fluid from leaving the tank in unwanted manner; a first float mechanically connected to the first stopper such that, on being placed in a predetermined position, the first float closes the first stopper; and a holder system for holding the second stopper, which system, when fluid leaves the tank, closes the second stopper, and when fluid enters into the tank, opens the second stopper. In an operating position of the device, and under effect of a heavy element, the holder system acts continuously on the second stopper, tending to maintain the second stopper permanently in its closed position.

    摘要: An overfill preventing device in an underground liquid storage tank is characterized in that a window for extending outwardly or accommodating a float is provided on a peripheral wall of a cylindrical sleeve, that an upper end of the float is pivotally attached to the cylindrical sleeve at a position above the window, and that a closure valve is mounted on the upper end of the float to open or close the cylindrical sleeve at a position above the window. Since the window for extending the float outwardly or accommodating the float inwardly is formed inside the cylindrical sleeve, the float can be firmly stored. When the float is extended outwardly from the cylindrical sleeve after installing the device of the present invention, the window is closed by a lid and the lid forms a part of the cylindrical sleeve so that construction of the space within the cylindrical sleeve necessary for liquid flow is minimized, whereby liquid is smoothly supplied into the underground liquid storage tank.

    摘要: A testable overfill prevention valve (“TOPV”) for a liquid storage container. The TOPV allows an individual to readily verify the operability of the TOPV. Preferably, a test member of directly contacts a portion of a latch to release a flow control member so that the flow control member can move from an open position to a closed position wherein in the closed position liquid is generally prevented from flowing out the TOPV. The test member preferably directly contacts the flow control member to move the control member to an intermediate position between open and closed positions allowing an individual looking down into the TOPV to see that the flow control member has moved sufficiently to confirm operability of the TOPV. Preferably, the test member is spring biased to a non-testing position and the entire test member is disposed in the housing of the TOPV when in a testing position.
