摘要: A battery tray for a battery powered vehicle includes a battery tray having a side wall. An impact absorbing structure is connected to the side wall. The impact absorbing structure includes at least one roll-formed member fixed to the side wall. The at least one roll-formed member is created from a single metal plate and includes a first plate portion roll-formed to create a first cavity and having a first flange created in a member central wall of the first plate portion. The first flange is fixed to the first plate portion. A second plate portion is roll-formed to create a second cavity and has a second flange at an end of the second plate portion fixed to the member central wall. A roll-formed U-shaped attachment member is fixed to the at least one roll-formed member.

摘要: A detachable lift gate hinge cover assembly includes a bracket fixed to a vehicle roof, the bracket including an attachment member having an integrally connected coupling portion. A plate assembly includes a panel having a retention member integrally connected to the panel. The plate assembly when rotated in a first rotation direction aligns the retention member with a clearance opening of the coupling portion allowing insertion of the retention member through the clearance opening to releasably engage a hook shaped end of the retention member with the coupling portion. The plate assembly when positioned in an installed position within a roof hinge pocket of the roof at least partially covers a lift gate hinge attachment area. The plate assembly when rotated in a second rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction releases the hook shaped end from the coupling portion to release the plate assembly from the installed position.

摘要: A method for autonomously parking or un-parking a motor vehicle includes receiving a map of a parking area having a first temporary obstruction zone, determining a starting location of the motor vehicle relative to the parking area, selecting a destination location within the parking area, setting the first temporary obstruction zone as operative or inoperative, generating a path from the starting location to the destination location, wherein the path does not enter the first temporary obstruction zone when operative, and driving the motor vehicle autonomously along the path from the starting location of the motor vehicle to the destination location.

摘要: A motor vehicle transmission cable attachment device includes a body having a slot receiving a pin in a body sliding direction transverse to a pin longitudinal axis. A member has a portion displaced at least partially into the slot when the pin is received in the slot, the portion thereafter preventing release of the pin from the slot. A lock supported on the body is moved between a lock disengaged position to a lock engaged position when the pin is received in the slot. A lock-out slide is moved from a first position wherein a lock-out slide portion is received in a lock cavity in the lock disengaged position to a second position when the pin is received in the slot. The second position has the lock-out slide portion positioned outside of the lock allowing the lock to be displaced to the lock engaged position.

摘要: A laminated light guide and component carrier includes a printed circuit board having a light emitting diode connected to a first face of the printed circuit board. A through bore is created in the printed circuit board proximate to the light emitting diode. An opaque film is applied using an adhesive to a second face of the printed circuit board oppositely directed with respect to the first face, the opaque film having a portion overlapping the through bore. A light guide is positioned within the opening and affixed to the portion of the opaque film overlapping the through bore. A white film is applied or ink printed onto the light guide without contacting the first face of the printed circuit board.

摘要: A method and system for simultaneously generating a global lane map and localizing a vehicle in the generated global lane map is provided. The system includes a plurality of image sensors adapted to operatively capture a 360-degree field of view image from the host vehicle for detecting a plurality of lane markings. The image sensors include a front long-range camera, a front mid-range camera, a right side mid-range camera, a left side mid-range camera, and a rear mid-range camera. A controller communicatively is coupled to the plurality of image sensors and includes a data base containing reference lane markings and a processor. The processor is configured to identify the plurality of lane markings by comparing the detected lane markings from the 360-degree field of view image to the reference lane markings from the data base and to fuse the identified lane markings into the global lane map.

摘要: A pedal with snap-fit bushing includes a pedal arm having a tubular sleeve oriented perpendicular and fixed to the pedal arm. A mounting pin is rotatably received within a tubular sleeve annular bore and extends partially beyond tubular sleeve opposed ends. A first pivot bushing is rotatably mounted to a first end of the mounting pin extending outward of the tubular sleeve. A second pivot bushing is rotatably mounted to a second end of the mounting pin extending outward of the tubular sleeve. A pedal housing includes a first wall having a first “L” shaped slot and a second wall having a second “L” shaped slot. The pivot bushings are received in a retention portion of the first and second slots to releasably retain the mounting pin and allow rotation of the pedal arm and the tubular sleeve about a rotational axis of the mounting pin.
