摘要： A motor electronics unit includes a printed circuit board having a first and a second side. An electrical conductor is connected to the printed circuit board. A heat sink is positioned proximate to the printed circuit board. A housing of a polymeric material includes: an endcap encapsulating the printed circuit board and covering an outer edge of the heat sink defining a heat sink first portion, with a second portion of the heat sink not covered by the polymeric material and extending through and outward from the endcap to transfer heat from the printed circuit board. A first section of the electrical conductor extends through and is partially encapsulated by the endcap. A connector body is integrally connected to the housing. A second section of the electrical conductor is exposed within a cavity of the connector body to electrically connect the printed circuit board to another component.

摘要： A heterogeneous convolutional neural network (HCNN) system includes a visual reception system generating an input image. A feature extraction layer (FEL) portion of convolutional neural networks includes multiple convolution, pooling and activation layers stacked together. The FEL includes multiple stacked layers, a first set of layers learning to represent data in a simple form including horizontal and vertical lines and blobs of colors. Following layers capture more complex shapes such as circles, rectangles, and triangles. Subsequent layers pick up complex feature combinations to form a representation including wheels, faces and grids. The FEL portion outputs data to each of: a first sub-network which performs a first task of object detection, classification, and localization for classes of objects in the input image to create a detected object table; and a second sub-network which performs a second task of defining a pixel level segmentation to create a segmentation data set.

摘要： A battery pack safety system for a battery powered vehicle includes a vehicle battery pack having at least one battery cell positioned in a bay of a frame. Multiple sensors are each supported by the frame. A safety module in communication with each of the multiple sensors collects an output of each of the sensors for transmission to a vehicle computer unit. A safety module power supply provides backup power for operation of the multiple sensors and the safety module when an electrical charge of the battery pack is unavailable. A warning module is in communication with the safety module. The warning module when initiated by a signal from the safety module in response to an output signal generated by any of the multiple sensors energizes a signaling device providing external vehicle indication of a status of the battery pack.
