    Abstract: A kit and corresponding method can be used to convert wheels of a power machine to track assemblies, such as to convert a four-wheeled power machine to a quad track power machine. A stub shaft (346) can be secured to an axle (328) of a power machine (300) and can be configured to support a track frame (366) of a track assembly in place of a wheel (319). A bearing (368) can be secured to the stub shaft (346) and a bushing (376) can engage the axle (328) to rotatably support the track assembly relative to the axle (328). Pieces of a segmented sprocket (378, 380) can be separately secured to a hub (306) of a power machine (300) to help install and drive a track of a track assembly.

    Abstract: A mobile power source includes an electrical generator, a controller, a resistor, and a user-activated switch positioned on a control panel of the electrical generator, the user-activated switch is configured to move between at least a first position and a second position. In response to the user-activated switch being in the first position, the resistor is configured to act as a terminating resistor at one end of a controller area network (CAN) bus of a power generation system, and in response to the user-activated switch being in the second position, the resistor is configured to be prevented from acting as the terminating resistor of the CAN bus.

    Abstract: A control system for a hydrostatic drive system can include a hydraulic charge pump circuit having a hydraulic load and a tank. The hydraulic charge pump can be in fluid communication with the hydraulic charge pump circuit. A bypass line can extend to the tank from a junction between the hydraulic charge pump and the hydraulic load. A charge bypass valve can be disposed to control flow through the bypass line. The control system can include a control device configured to determine one or more operational parameters for the power machine and control the charge bypass valve to allow flow through the bypass line, from the hydraulic charge pump to the tank, based on the determined operational parameters during a starting operation.

    Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include power machines and related structures of lift arms, implement carriers, follower links, and driver links which improve manufacturability, reduce component failures, and improve power machine design and functionality. In some embodiments, lift arm structures include cast lower lift arm portions. The cast lower lift arm portions include contoured upper ends which are sleeved onto contoured lower ends of upper lift arm portions to control stress points and to reduce stresses on welds. The follower link structures can include follower links which are configured to be positioned at least partially outside of the lift arm structure to improve rear visibility. The driver link structures can be configured to be laterally overlapping with innermost surfaces on the lift cylinder, but configured such that as the lift arm is raised the laterally overlapping portions are moved above the innermost surfaces of the lift cylinder.

    Abstract: Disclosed are front entry cabs, and power machines with front entry cabs, having a door that is moveable between opened and closed positions and a display oriented in the cab to provide information to the operator both while the door is in the opened and closed positions. In the opened position, the door is positioned within an operator compartment of the cab above the operator seat and below a top of the cab. The display is positioned to not interfere with the door, door linkages, or operator joystick control.

    Abstract: A light system includes a plurality of light towers including a first light tower and a second light tower. Each light tower include a light source, a rechargeable battery operable to provide electrical power to the light source, and a control system programmed to control the flow of power to and from the rechargeable battery. The light system further includes a power/network cord electrically connecting the first light tower to the second light tower, a power source, and a power recharge cord arranged to electrically connect the first light tower to the power source. The power recharge cord is operable to provide electrical power from the power source to the first light tower and from the first light tower to the second light tower via the power/network cord. Each control system is programmed to selectively activate the power source to initiate a recharge cycle for the respective rechargeable battery.
