Abstract:
A treadmill includes a handle device disposed on a seat, a tread base rotatable between a downward working position and an upward folding position. Two arms and two levers and two bars are pivotally secured between the tread base and the seat, for allowing the tread base to be rotated relative to the seat. A tube may be secured to the arms, a bolt is threaded with the tube, and a motor may be coupled to the bolt for rotating the bolt to move the tube away from and toward the bolt, and thus to rotate the tread base between the downward working position and the upward folding positions.
Abstract:
What is disclosed is a method having the first step of receiving, on a routing manager port address, a set of accounting request packets from a network access server having a network access server port address. Then, parsing the accounting request packet to derive a command flag and forwarding the set of accounting request packets to an authentication server, having an authentication server port address, over the authentication server port address. The method includes the further step of generating a set of routing table modification commands for a network router based on the command flag. What is also disclosed is an apparatus having a network access server, an authentication server coupled to the network access server, and a routing manager coupled to the network access server and the authentication server. The network access server has a network access server port address, the authentication server has an authentication server port address, and the routing manager has a routing manager port address. The routing manager is configured to: (1) receive, on the routing manager port address, a set of accounting request packets from the network access server port address; (2) parse the accounting request packet to derive a command flag; (3) forward the set of accounting request packets and to the authentication server port address; and (4) generate a set of routing table modification commands for a network router based on the command flag.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for propagating user preference information among a plurality of local computers coupled to a repository computer, where each local computer has one or more user-controllable parameters. According to the embodiment, the repository computer maintains central user preference information and transmits that information to a local computer. The local computer uses the transmitted user preference information to update one or more of its user-controllable parameters.
Abstract:
An oval track exercising climber including a pair of pedals pivotably supported between a pair of oscillating bars and a pair of guide bars, and a pair of links pivotably coupled between the oscillating bars and the guide bars, the connecting points between the guide bars and the links being respectively pivoted to a pair of cranks, the pedals being forced to move along an oval track and pedaled.
Abstract:
A mount for optional equipment for bicycles. The mount is mounted on handle bars of bicycles. A number of pairs of flanges are attached to or formed on the mount. A pair of flanges is attached to or formed on each item of optional equipment. The pairs of flanges attached to or formed on the mount engage with the pairs of flanges attached to or formed on the items of optional equipment, so that the items of optional equipment are mounted on the mount in a quickrelease way.
