    Abstract: A method for a display driver circuit configured to drive a display panel includes steps of: determining whether a plurality of first data codes corresponding to first data voltages to be output through a multiplexer to data lines in the display panel during a first horizontal line period equal; determining whether each of the first data codes equals a corresponding second data code among a plurality of second data codes corresponding to second data voltages to be output through the multiplexer to the data lines during a second horizontal line period immediately after the first horizontal line period; and in response to that the first data codes equal and each of the first data codes equal the corresponding second data code, outputting a control signal to keep a switch of the multiplexer staying in a turn-on state after the switch is turned on for outputting a first data voltage.

    Abstract: A method and device of fingerprint image generation for saving memory. The method includes generating a first fingerprint image of an original data size according to a plurality of first analog sensing signals which are read from a fingerprint sensor array before an exposure period ends. Then the first fingerprint image represented by a first data size which is equivalent to or smaller than the original data size is stored. a second fingerprint image of the original data size is generated after generating the first fingerprint image of the original data size according to a plurality of second analog sensing signals which are read from the fingerprint sensor array during the exposure period. The second fingerprint image represented by a compressed data size smaller than the original data size is then stored.

    Abstract: A display driver device including a driver circuit and a control circuit is provided. The driver circuit is configured to drive a display panel to display an animated image for a display period under an always on display mode according to display information of the animated image stored in a storage circuit. The display period includes a writing period and a non-writing period after the writing period. The control circuit is configured to write the display information of the animated image received from an external device into the storage circuit during the writing period of the display period. The control circuit is configured to stop receiving the display information from the external device and writing any display information into the storage circuit during the non-writing period of the display period. A display device including the display driver device and an operating method for the display driver device are also provided.

    Abstract: A device and method for blending image data and the alpha channel and reconstructing to obtain the image again after transmission. An encoder blends the alpha channel and the red-green-blue (RGB) image data through a layer blending method that is supported by the general application processor (AP). Transporter image data, such as a checkerboard pattern, is blended with 1-alpha channel data to obtain a transporter. The blended image data (RGB+alpha) is mixed with the transporter to obtain mixed image data. The mixed image data is then transmitted through the existing transmission interface. After receiving the mixed image data, reconstruction processing is performed by a decoder to obtain the original RGB image data and the alpha channel again.
