    Abstract: A device and method for blending image data and the alpha channel and reconstructing to obtain the image again after transmission. An encoder blends the alpha channel and the red-green-blue (RGB) image data through a layer blending method that is supported by the general application processor (AP). Transporter image data, such as a checkerboard pattern, is blended with 1-alpha channel data to obtain a transporter. The blended image data (RGB+alpha) is mixed with the transporter to obtain mixed image data. The mixed image data is then transmitted through the existing transmission interface. After receiving the mixed image data, reconstruction processing is performed by a decoder to obtain the original RGB image data and the alpha channel again.

    Abstract: The present application provides a color gamut mapping method and a color gamut mapping device for use in a splicing display device. Display screens in the splicing display device have different color gamuts. By mapping the color gamuts of multiple display screens to the display screen which is the uniquely determined display screen in the splicing display device, the color gamuts of all the display screens in the splicing display device are the same, and colors displayed on different screens are also the same. Accordingly, the present application improves uneven images and the image quality.

In use, two or more source images including at least one strobe image and at least one ambient image are loaded. A pixel-level correction is estimated for at least one of the two or more source images based on a pixel level correction function. At least one pixel of the two or more source images is color-corrected based on the pixel-level correction. A first blend weight associated with the two or more source images is initialized, and a first combined image from the two or more source images is rendered based on the color-correction and the first blend weight.     Abstract: A method, a system, and a computer program product for generating a selective color image. The method includes capturing a color image data within a current scene. The method further includes retrieving image color values from the color image data. The method further includes receiving a selection of at least one location within the color image data. The method further includes generating a color mask and applying the color mask to the color image data to generate a color masked image data. The method further includes combining the color masked image data with monochromatic image data of the current scene to create a selective color image that includes the monochromatic image data with the at least one portion, and then the method includes providing the selective color image to at least one output device.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an apparatus for converting image data from a Bayer format image to a four-plane image format using two memory channels. An example apparatus includes an interface for receiving the Bayer image including repeating pixel groups, where each pixel group includes a first pixel type, a second pixel type, a third pixel type, and a fourth pixel type. The apparatus also includes a memory and a circuit to write the Bayer image to the memory as four-plane data. The four-plane data includes pixels of the first type and the third type in the Bayer image that are written via the first memory channel, and pixels of the second type and the fourth type in the Bayer image that are written via the second memory channel. Embodiments also relate to converting three sensor image data to a Bayer format image using the two memory channels.
