    摘要: Processes for co-processing a naphtha stream with a light cycle oil stream are disclosed. The processes include hydrocracking the light cycle oil stream under hydrocracking conditions to provide a hydrocracked effluent stream. A naphtha stream is hydrotreated under hydrotreating conditions to provide a hydrotreated effluent stream. The hydrocracked effluent stream and the hydrotreated effluent stream may be passed to a stripping column to recover a stripping bottom stream. The stripping bottom stream may be passed to a main fractionation column to recover an intermediate naphtha stream.

    摘要: A process and apparatus for hydroprocessing a biorenewable feedstock involves an advantageous metallurgy. The biorenewable feed stream is hydrotreated in a hydrotreating reactor comprising a stainless steel having a composition of at least about 2 wt-% molybdenum which is sufficiently resistant to acidic corrosion. The hydrotreated biorenewable stream is hydroisomerized in a hydroisomerization reactor comprising a stainless steel having a composition of less than about 2 wt-% molybdenum. Most of the free fatty acids are deoxygenated in the hydrotreating reactor to make water, thus avoiding exposure of downstream equipment to acid attack. The stainless steel of said hydrotreating reactor may have a composition of no more than about 0.02 wt-% carbon.

    摘要: An improved isobutanol synthesis process is provided which proceeds through the formation of mixed alcohols from syngas. The two-step process avoids the slowest α-carbon addition reaction in the conventional one-step, direct isobutanol synthesis process. Once ethanol and propanol are produced in the first reaction zone, they can react with methanol and/or syngas in a second reaction zone to produce isobutanol through the fast β-carbon addition reaction in the presence of catalysts, resulting on significantly improved isobutanol productivity.

    摘要: Process and apparatus for producing a naphtha stream is provided. The process comprises providing a kerosene stream to a hydrocracking reactor. The kerosene stream is hydrocracked in the presence of a hydrogen stream and a hydrocracking catalyst in the hydrocracking reactor at hydrocracking conditions comprising a hydrocracking pressure, a hydrocracking temperature, and a liquid hourly space velocity at a net conversion of at least about 90%, to provide a hydrocracked effluent stream comprising liquefied petroleum gas, heavy naphtha fraction and light naphtha fraction. One or more of the hydrocracking conditions are adjusted to maintain a ratio of the light naphtha fraction to the heavy naphtha fraction of at least about 2 by weight, suitably at least about 2.2 and preferably at least about 2.5 in the hydrocracked effluent stream while maintaining the net conversion of at least about 90%.

    摘要: A process for production of gasoline comprising separating a naphtha feed in a naphtha splitter into a stream comprising i-C5, a stream comprising C6 and lighter boiling hydrocarbons, a C7 stream comprising C7 hydrocarbons, and a heavy stream comprising C8 and heavier hydrocarbons; isomerizing at least a portion of the stream comprising C6 and lighter boiling hydrocarbons in a C5-C6 isomerization zone at isomerization conditions to form a C5-C6 isomerization effluent; dehydrogenating at least a portion of the stream comprising C7 hydrocarbons to form a C7 dehydrogenation effluent comprising C7 olefins; reforming the heavy stream in a reforming zone under reforming conditions forming a reformate stream; and blending one or more of the stream comprising i-C5, the C5-C6 isomerization effluent, the C7 dehydrogenation effluent and the reformate stream to form a gasoline blend.
