摘要: The present application describes an intravascular implantable pacing and/or defibrillation system. The described system includes a pulse generator that is implantable within a blood vessel and proportioned to blood flow through the blood vessel, and at least one electrode attachable to the pulse generator. During implantation, the pulse generator is introduced into a patient's vasculature, advanced to a desired vessel and anchored in place within the vessel. The electrode or electrodes are placed within the heart or surrounding vessels as needed to deliver electrical pulses to the appropriate location.

摘要: A polyurethane coated nylon sheet is folded medially to form the pressure cuff. The urethane coated surface forms the inner surface of the inflation chamber of the cuff. A hook and loop fastener assembly for securing the cuff about the patient's limb is secured to the cuff. The hook and loop sheets are both provided with fusable polymer back coatings. The hook and loop sheets are fused to the polyurethane coated surfaces on the cuff. The hooks and loops are accessible on opposite sides of the cuff. An inflation fitting is also fused to the interior of the pressure chamber and projects through an opening in the cuff.

摘要: An electrical adapter is described particularly useful for converting a 250 watt halogen lamp socket having a width of 7/16" to a 75 watt episical reflector lamp or flood socket having a diameter of 1". The adapter comprises a top and bottom hollow ceramic section. The top section consists of a hollow base member adhesively mated to a top member. The top member has mounted thereon a male screw shell and a center contact. The bottom ceramic section contains an internally threaded female screw shell and a bottom central contact. A connecting member is bonded to the hollow base member of the top section and is equipped with a central internally threaded collar to which is threaded a tubular neck. The bottom section is screwed to the connecting member. Wires connect the top and bottom center contacts and the male and female screw shells.

摘要: An electrical connector in the form of a socket assembly defining a plurality of arcuate leaf contacts adapted for insertion of a pin contact therein. The socket assembly comprises an elongate socket core having the leaf contacts formed at a distal end thereof, and a substantially cylindrical hood surrounding the leaf contacts. In one embodiment of the invention, the hood is provided with structure for limiting the radial outward deflection of the leaf contacts when the electrical connector is subjected to shock forces. The limiting structure can be a stepped inner cylindrical sidewall of the hood, defining a reduced inner diameter portion of the hood surrounding at least a distal portion of each leaf contact.

摘要: A method and system for error management in a memory device. In one embodiment of the invention, the memory device can handle commands and address parity errors and cyclic redundancy check errors. In one embodiment of the invention, the memory can detect whether a received command has any parity errors by determining whether the command bits or the address bits of the received command has any parity errors. If a parity error or cyclic redundancy check error in the received command is detected, an error handling mechanism is triggered to recover from the errant command.

摘要: An improved chilled beam refrigeration and/or air conditioning systems uses a first chilled air flow to induce a second chilled air flow. Ambient air is drawn through first coils to produce a primary cooled air flow into an intake plenum on the suction side of a fan. The primary cooled air is drawn from the intake plenum, through the fan, and is exhausted into a discharge plenum at a positive pressure. Discharge nozzles along discharge face(s) of the discharge plenum direct the primary cooled air outward inducing a negative pressure in an area behind (or above) second coils. The negative pressure induces additional ambient air to be drawn through the second coils and cooled to provide additional cooled air. The additional cooled air mixes with the primary cooled air providing a larger refrigeration and/or air conditioning effect which would otherwise require additional motorized fans.

摘要: A method for converting spherical or amorphous metal particles into lamellar flakes that promote improved adhesive and cohesive characteristics when incorporated into coating compositions. The metal flakes produced exhibit properties compatible with binder chemistries such as isocyanates, titanates, titanate hybrids and are suitable for use in conjunction with advanced top coating techniques, such as electrodeposition. The particles produced by the method may be used in coatings and may exhibit improved substrate adhesion and improved cohesion characteristics when used in conjunction with an electrodeposition top coat.
