    摘要： A method is provided for managing active sets of a terminal that receives a pilot channel from a base station in a mobile communication system. Reception strength of the pilot channel is measured. It is checked whether the number of active sets being managed by the terminal is greater than or equal to the predetermined maximum number of supportable active sets. It is determined whether to transmit a pilot to the base station according to the checking result.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a mobile communication system, and more particularly, to a method and system for efficiently supporting security in a mobile communication system. The method for supporting the security of a terminal in a mobile communication system according to the present invention comprises: a process of transmitting an information provision request message to a network; a process of performing a verification for the network and security; a process of receiving an information provision response message, comprising an index of an encrypted security key, an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), and a security-related profile from the network when the verification is completed; and a process of selecting a security key on the basis of the index of an encrypted security key, and then storing the selected security key, the IMSI, and the profile.

The system and method include allocating a connection identifier (CID) to each broadcast service for identification of a broadcast service packet transmitted over the downlink, and transmitting broadcast service information for each broadcast service; and receiving a broadcast packet from the broadcast server, and transmitting a physical layer transmission information element (DL-MAP) including a broadcast service CID for the broadcast packet through the downlink0.

The method includes receiving, for a data channel, a number of first components, which indicates an amount of resources used with a first resource allocation scheme, and a number of second components, which indicates an amount of resources used with a second resource allocation scheme, from the base station over a common control channel; determining first and second identifier lengths of channel elements for the first and second resource allocation schemes according to the number of first components and the number of second components; receiving resource allocation information including an identifier indicating at least one channel element allocated to the terminal, over a data control channel using one of the identifier lengths; and transmitting and receiving data over a resource of a channel element indicated by the received identifier.

    摘要： A method and apparatus for establishing communication between a plurality of communication devices and a communication network using a single subscription is provided. The method receives a first request from a second communication device to get a subscription identity and capabilities of subscription for accessing the communication network using subscription of the first communication device. The method then sends the first request to a Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM) associated with the first communication device. Thereafter, the method receives a response from the USIM including subscription identity, access protection keys and capabilities of the subscription. Then the method generates unique key for the second communication device based on the response received from the USIM. The method then sends the response along with the generated unique key to the second communication device to establish communication between the second communication device and the communication network using the subscription of first communication device.

    摘要： A system is provided for managing mobility of an Access Terminal (AT) in a Proxy Mobile Internet Protocol (PMIP) communication system. As the AT performs a handoff, a target Signaling Radio Network Controller (SRNC) delivers session information of the AT, acquired from a source SRNC of a source network, to a target Access Network (AN). An Authentication, Authorization and Accounting server (AAA) performs an AT access authentication process. Then, a target Access Gateway (AGW) performs a proxy registration procedure, with the target AN, and receives, from the AT, a message indicating a need to establish an interface with the HA. A Home Agent (HA) performs mobility management for the AT, receives a message for requesting proxy registration for mobility management for the AT, sends an access request message to the AAA, receives an access accept message, and sends a response message for proxy registration to the target AGW.
