摘要： The present invention relates to a broadband wireless access system, and more particularly, to a method in which a terminal acquires and updates global carrier configuration information of base stations in a network, and to an apparatus for performing the method. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method in which a terminal acquires carrier configuration information in a broadband wireless access system that supports multiple carriers comprises the following steps; transmitting a first message containing a change count value of the carrier configuration information acquired by the terminal: receiving, from the base station and in response to the first message, a second message containing the current change count value of the carrier configuration information; and, if the change count value of the first message and the change count value of the second message are different from each other, receiving a third message containing current carrier configuration information and the current change count value from the base station.

摘要： The present invention relates to a wireless access system, and more particularly, to a method for supporting security during a handover performance through a zone switch and to a device performing same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, switching a zone by a terminal in a broadband wireless access system comprises the following steps: creating at least one service flow in a first zone that supports the legacy mode of a base station; receiving at the base station a first message, which indicates a zone switch to a second zone that supports an advanced mode; and performing the zone switch, wherein performing the zone switch may further comprise a step for receiving from the second zone a second message, which includes security association information that indicates the security association applied to at least one service flow in the second zone.

In one example of the present invention, a security performance negotiation method for supporting the hand-over of mobile handsets comprises the steps of: carrying out, in advance, a security performance negotiation procedure with a first base station (T-ABS), prior to registration on the first base station; generating a traffic encoding key (TEK) by using security related information acquired by means of the security performance negotiation procedure; and carrying out a general performance exchange procedure encoded by means of the TEK and a zone switch with the first base station.

A method for transmitting and receiving carrier group information, according to one embodiment of the present invention, includes the steps of: a mobile terminal transmitting a first message containing multi-carrier performance information of the mobile terminal to a base station; and the mobile terminal receiving, from the base station, a second message containing allocation information on the wireless resource allocated on the basis of the multi-carrier information. Here, multi-carrier performance information includes a spectral mask-type parameter for the supportable multi-carrier of the mobile terminal.
