摘要： The present invention relates to a wireless access system which supports multiple carriers, and disclosed is a method for coordinating the performance of the multiple carriers and an apparatus for supporting same. The method for coordinating the performance of the multiple carriers according to the present invention broadly consists of two steps. For example, the method comprises the steps of coordinating the basic performance of the multiple carriers in mobile user equipment and coordinating the extended performance of the multiple carriers in the mobile user equipment.

摘要： A method for transmitting and receiving an ACKnowledgment (ACK) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes transmitting a bandwidth request indicator to a Base Station (BS), and receiving an ACK for the transmitted bandwidth request indicator from the BS, the ACK including a resource start offset field. The resource start offset field indicates an index of a starting resource unit of resources allocated by the ACK.

A method for a single-carrier supported mobile station (MS) to perform a carrier change with a MC supported base station (BS) includes transmitting a message indicating a support of a basic MC mode in which the MS is aware of a MC operation of the BS, receiving a carrier management command message including an action code and an action time on a serving carrier, transmitting, in response to the carrier management command message, a confirmation message indicating readiness of signal transmission/reception through a target carrier on a target carrier, and receiving a control signal and data from the BS on the target carrier, wherein the serving carrier and the target carrier are controlled by a common Medium Access Control (MAC) of the BS.

摘要： A method for efficiently performing an initial access in an MS in a multi-carrier broadband wireless access system is disclosed. The method includes scanning a plurality of carriers supported by a BS, and selecting one of the scanned carriers as a first carrier and receiving an SFH of the first carrier. The SFH of the first carrier includes at least one of a field indicating load status of the first carrier and recommended network entry carrier information including information about a second carrier in good load status.

The present invention provides an efficient method for controlling terminal mobility of a relay station and a method for performing handover of a terminal. The method for controlling mobility of terminal at a relay station in a broadband wireless access system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises step wherein at least one neighboring base station entity searched is added in a list, and a step wherein a broadcast message including the list is transmitted to the terminal.

摘要： A method and apparatus of operating a femto base station in a wireless communication system is provided. A first announcement message indicating service interruption is transmitted. A second announcement message indicating service recovery is transmitted. The second announcement message is transmitted to a user equipment or a macro base station having a wider cell area than the femto base station. Reliability of a communication service can be maintained for a user equipment even if a service of a femto base station is temporarily interrupted.

The first broadcast channel is transmitted using a fixed modulation and coding scheme (MCS) value, and the second broadcast channel is transmitted using a variable modulation and coding scheme (MCS) value.
