Abstract: In a 3D MIMO scenario with 16 antenna ports, antenna ports can be extended in different directions because of different configuration manners of the antenna ports. An apparatus and method where different antenna port counting manners are determined in different configurations are provided, so that in different configurations, a matrix whose dimension is 8 and a matrix whose dimension is 2 are determined in a precoding codebook, and a value of a PMI is fed back to indicate a precoding matrix.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide methods for detecting and sending downlink control information and devices. The method for detecting downlink control information includes: acquiring a pilot port determining parameter that corresponds to downlink control information needing to be detected; determining, according to the pilot port determining parameter, a first-type pilot port that corresponds to the downlink control information; and detecting the downlink control information according to the first-type pilot port. Abstract: The invention concerns a method for precoding in an open loop transmission communications system. Abstract: A mobile station is connected to a multi-carrier cellular communication system having a plurality of sub-carriers. The sub-carriers are classified into K frequency sub-bands, channel state information (CSI) of the frequency sub-bands is represented by matrices Wi (i=0 . . . K−1), where K is an integer grater than 1. The mobile station determines a first sub-index k1 for the K matrices Wi (i=0 . . . K−1), and a second sub-index k2 for each one of the K matrices Wi (i=0 . . . K−1). The first sub-index k1 is common for all frequency sub-bands, and the second sub-index k2 is specific for the indexed matrix that corresponds to one frequency sub-band. The mobile station reports to a base station of the multi-carrier cellular communication system the first sub-index k1 and at least one second sub-index k2.
