摘要: A direct current motor is comprised of an armature, magnets arranged to face each other through the armature, a commutator and brushes. The armature has a core and a plurality of coils wound on the core. Each magnet has a main part and an extension extending form the main part. The main part has an angular interval which corresponds to an interval of winding each coil, so that the extension is positioned outside the coil in the circumferential direction. During the commutation period of the coil, that is, during shorting of the coil by the brush, the amount of magnetic flux passing through the coil is changed by the extension of the magnet. Thus, an induction voltage is generated in the coil to counteract to a reactance voltage of the coil.

摘要: An automatic document feeder includes first and second registration rollers for abutting the leading end of an original conveyed along a conveying path against their contact positions. The first registration roller is included in a plurality of reversing rollers arranged apart from each other along an axis of a supporting shaft of each of the reversing rollers. The reversing roller turn over the original along a reversing path that bypasses a part of the conveying path. There is provided a reversal guiding member arranged so as to cover a region between the adjacent reversing rollers. The reversal guiding member has guide surfaces curved along the peripheral surfaces of the reversing rollers as viewed along the axis of the supporting shaft. The reversal of the original is guided along the reversing path by the guide surfaces.

摘要: A recycle document feeder according to the present invention includes a pair of document width regulating guides (9a, 9b) for guiding opposite edges of document originals (D) fed back onto a document placing plate (8) for alignment thereof with respect to the width thereof. With this construction, if the document width regulating guides (9a, 9b) each had a small length (A) as measured along a document transportation direction, the document originals (D) fed back onto the document placing plate (8) could not properly be aligned by the document width regulating guides (9a, 9b) thereby to be randomly stacked on the skew with respect to the document transportation direction. In view of this, the document width regulating guides (9a, 9b) are constructed so as to guide the document originals fed back onto the document placing plate (8) from a document discharge portion (30) over a distance equivalent to or greater than 60% of the length of a smallest document original (as measured along the transportation direction) which is to be possibly transported by the recycle document feeder.

摘要: A simply configured cooling mechanism for an apparatus for producing hydrogen and oxygen is disclosed. The configuration makes it possible to freely select the type of heat exchanger, without any restrictions, in order to improve cooling efficiency. In particular, a heat exchanger for cooling deionized water in a deionized water tank, which contains an electrolytic cell, is installed outside the tank. An inlet to the heat exchanger is connected to a deionized water flow outlet from the tank that is below the level of the deionized water the tank by a pipe, and an outlet from the heat exchanger to tank is connected to a deionized water flow inlet that is positioned in the tank below the deionized water flow outlet.

摘要: In an automatic document feeder, an original tray has an original platen on its upper surface. Originals put on the original platen are fed along a conveying path by conveying rollers and conveyance auxiliary rollers. The originals fed are separated one at a time by separating belts and separating rollers which are arranged above and below a conveying path. When a conveyance guide plate constituting a part of the original platen is removed upward, the separating rollers, the conveying rollers, and the conveyance auxiliary rollers and a portion for supporting the rollers are exposed upward, so that maintenance such as replacement of components such as the separating rollers, the conveying rollers and the conveyance auxiliary rollers can be performed.

摘要: A simple and efficient apparatus for producing hydrogen and oxygen is disclosed, wherein resistance to the flow of deionized water, oxygen gas, and hydrogen gas does not increase, and the amount of electric energy required for electrolysis can be reduced. A bipolar-type apparatus for producing hydrogen and oxygen, wherein a main water feeding path is formed in the approximate center of electrode plates in the axial direction, and an anode chamber and a cathode chamber are formed on opposing surfaces of the electrode plates to store porous conductors. A secondary water feeding path for the anode chamber directs water from the main water feeding path to the anode chamber. On the cathode side of the apparatus, a hydrogen gas collecting chamber is formed, a plurality of radial hydrogen gas paths are formed from the cathode chamber to the hydrogen gas collecting chamber, and a hydrogen gas discharging path are formed to axially hydrogen gas collecting chambers in each electrode plate. On the anode side of the apparatus, an oxygen gas path is formed from the anode chamber to the oxygen gas collecting chamber, and an oxygen gas discharging path is formed to axially connect to the oxygen gas collecting chambers in each electrode plate.

摘要: A direct-conversion receiver includes a direct-conversion demodulator. A first device detects a strength of a received signal. A clock signal generator outputs a clock signal in response to a reception start signal. The clock signal has a frequency corresponding to a symbol rate or higher. A second device samples an output signal of the demodulator at a timing determined by the clock signal. A third device samples an output signal of the first device at a timing determined by the clock signal. A fourth device stores "n" output signals of the second device which relate to a signal periodically transmitted from a transmitting station "n" times, wherein "n" denotes a natural number equal to 2 or greater. A fifth device stores "n" output signals of the third device which correspond in timing to the "n" output signals of the second device. A sixth device reads out signals from the fourth device, and reads out signals from the fifth device. The sixth device weights the signals read out from the fourth device in response to the signals read out from the fifth device. A seventh device combines output signals of the sixth device.
