Abstract: An apparatus to facilitate disaggregated computing for a distributed confidential computing environment is disclosed. The apparatus includes a programmable integrated circuit (IC) comprising system manager hardware circuitry to: interface, over a network, with a remote application of a client platform, the system manager hardware circuitry to interface with the remote application using a message-based interface; perform resource management of resources of the programmable IC; validate incoming messages to the programmable IC; verify whether a requester is allowed to perform requested actions of the incoming messages that are successfully validated; and manage transfer of data between the programmable IC and the remote application based on successfully verifying the requester.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein are generally directed to conservative rasterization pipeline configurations that allow EarlyZ to be enabled for conservative rasterization. An embodiment of a method includes a conservative rasterizer receiving a primitive to be rasterized. Based on vertices of the primitive, the rasterizer creates a pixel location stream and inner coverage data, indicative of whether the corresponding pixel is fully covered by the primitive or partially covered by the primitive, for each pixel within the pixel location stream. Based on the inner coverage data, pixels of the pixel location stream are grouped into a first group including those of the pixels that are fully covered by the primitive and a second group including those of pixels that are partially covered by the primitive. Separate pixel shader threads are then launched by the rasterizer for blocks of pixels of the first group and blocks of pixels of the second group.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems, apparatuses, and processes that provide mixed reality and/or augmented reality interactive environments. Disclosed embodiments include mechanisms to determine a location of a physical object within a mixed reality environment, determine a location of a viewer within the mixed reality environment, and project a display onto the physical object or on a portion of an area within the mixed reality environment proximate to the physical object to obscure the physical object from the viewer, based upon at least the location of the physical object with respect to the location of the viewer. Other embodiments may be disclosed and/or claimed.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for controlled shadow casting to increase the perceptual quality of projected content are disclosed. In some examples, an apparatus is to increase a perceptual quality of content projected onto a projection surface. In some examples, the apparatus includes a processor and memory. In some examples, the memory includes computer readable instructions. In some examples, the instructions, when executed, cause the processor to determine a target shutter position for a shutter based on a location of a light source and a location of a projection surface. In some examples, the instructions, when executed, further cause the processor to move the shutter to the target shutter position to cast a shadow onto the projection surface around a portion of content projected onto the projection surface.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and articles of manufacture to provide extended graphics processing capabilities are disclosed. A disclosed example method involves sending a display panel parameter to a shared library module. The display panel parameter is sent by a programmable driver interface in communication between the shared library module and a graphics hardware device driver. The shared library module includes a first graphics processing capability. The graphics hardware device driver includes a second graphics processing capability different from the first graphics processing capability. The example method also involves performing a render operation via the programmable driver interface on a frame buffer based on the first graphics processing capability. The first graphics processing capability is received at the programmable driver interface from the shared library module based on the display panel parameter. The frame buffer is output to a display.
