摘要: This document discusses, among other things, systems and methods for managing multi-game contexts. An apparatus comprises a wagering game unit operable to present a wagering game upon which monetary value can be wagered; and a game context management unit operable to determine a list of installed wagering games on a wagering game machine and to determine one or more relevant rules, wherein a relevant rule is a one that is related to at least one of the installed wagering games, the game context management unit further operable to process each relevant rule to calculate a group of available games; and to present the available games on a primary display.

The reel comprises a reel strip arranged about the periphery of a cage. The reel strip, buttons on the machine, a player tracking card, and/or a gaming machine credit ticket may each comprise alterable film for displaying a plurality of indicia, including images, text, and other information. The gaming machine further comprises a controller operative to alter the appearance of items displayed on the film.

In one embodiment, the method includes presenting a first game setting, wherein the first game setting includes a plurality of game elements. The method also includes selecting a game element from the plurality of game elements, and presenting a second game setting, wherein presenting the second game setting includes enlarging the game element to show additional details of the game element. The method includes conducting a bonus event inside the second game setting.

摘要: A game of chance is played on a gaming machine controlled by a processor in response to a wager. The game includes an array of locations displayed on a video display and individually selectable by a player and the processor. The player and the processor make alternating selections of unoccupied ones of the locations in the array for placement of respective first and second symbol types. The probability of using a winning strategy for the selections by the processor increases with successive ones of the selections by the processor so that the processor appears to become more intelligent as the game progresses. A payout is awarded to the player based on an outcome of the game.

摘要: A behavior controller system and its operations are described herein. In embodiments, the operations can include detecting one or more events that occur within a wagering game. The wagering game can feature a wagering game object that can automatically (e.g., intelligently) respond to the one or more events. The behavior controller system can use event-driven behavior controllers, such as a behavior tree. The behavior controller system can determine, and activate, tasks on the behavior tree that cause the wagering game object to respond to the one or more events. In some embodiments, the behavior controller system can also prioritize tasks that may be performed by behavior trees to prevent conflicts between wagering game objects during a wagering game.

摘要: An editing tool generates a progressive game skin and code for instantiating the progressive game skin. The progressive skin indicates various perceivable elements (e.g., visual elements, aural elements, etc.) and skin configurations (e.g., layout for perceivable elements, timing for presenting perceivable elements, properties of perceivable elements, etc.). The progressive skin may also indicate target presentation devices for presenting the perceivable elements indicated by the progressive skin. The progressive skin editing tool provides the progressive skin to a device that controls one or more devices that will present the perceivable element indicated by the progressive skin. The controlling device (“media controller”) reads the progressive skin and causes the one or more devices to present the indicated perceivable elements as indicated by the progressive skin (“instantiates the progressive skin”).

摘要: A gaming system comprises a wager input device for receiving a primary wager and at least one display for displaying a selected primary wagering game, the selected primary wagering game having a primary payback percentage. The system includes a control interface displayed on the at least one display, the control interface comprising a plurality of available supplemental features. At least one controller is operative to (i) receive an operator activation selection of a supplemental feature selected from the plurality of available supplemental features; (ii) receive an operator configuration selection of at least one parameter of the selected supplement feature, the at least one parameter including a feature payback percentage of the selected supplemental feature; (iii) active availability of the selected supplemental feature for the play by a player of the selected primary wagering game; and (iv) display an overall payback percentage on the control interface.

摘要: A method of playing a wagering game comprises receiving a wager, and generating a randomly selected first outcome of a first wagering game, the first outcome comprising a first plurality of symbols arranged in a first matrix. The method further comprises generating a randomly selected second outcome of a second wagering game, the second outcome comprising a second plurality of symbols arranged in a second matrix, and simultaneously displaying the first outcome and the second outcome on at least one display. The method further comprises detecting an occurrence of a triggering event, in response to the triggering event, copying a first special symbol occurring in the first outcome into the second outcome to yield a modified second outcome, and evaluating the first outcome and the modified second outcome for winning combinations of symbols.

Further, the operations can add functionality to the primary wagering game, the secondary game, or the API, to enable compatibility.

摘要: The present invention is a method and a gaming system for operating a progressive game that is accessible at a plurality of gaming machines. The progressive game has a plurality of progressive jackpots. The method and system involve collecting wager-input data at the plurality of gaming machines that corresponds to wager inputs made at the plurality of gaming machines, and crediting a portion of the wager inputs to a first group of the plurality of progressive jackpots in accordance with a first distribution set. In response to the wager-input data meeting a predetermined criteria, the method and system include crediting a portion of subsequent wager inputs to a second group of the plurality of progressive jackpots in accordance with a second distribution set. The first group directs funds to at least one progressive jackpot in an amount that is different from the second group.
