    摘要: There is provided an image forming apparatus involving wet fixing that causes no bleeding and coagulation of toner and eventually no disturbance of toner image as a result of application of a fixing fluid, generates no curling or wrinkles in a recording medium, and can fix toner with large adhesion on a recording medium through which the fixing fluid hardly permeates. An image forming apparatus includes a toner image forming section, an intermediate transfer section, a transfer section, a fixing fluid applying section, a transport section, a fixing section, a recording medium feeding section, and a recording medium detection section. In the image forming apparatus, control of application amount of a fixing fluid to a recording medium is performed by the fixing fluid applying section based on the result obtained by the recording medium detection section for the recording medium such as thickness and material.

    摘要: A fixing device is formed by using a heat generating roller having magnetism and electric conductive characteristics and a magnetizing coil opposed to the outer peripheral of the heat generating roller and generating heat on the heat generating roller by an electromagnetic induction. The magnetizing coil is formed in such a manner that 60 copper wires whose surfaces are insulated and have the outside diameter of 0.2 mm are bundled to form a bundle of wires and the bundle of wires is drawn in the direction of rotation axis of the heat generating roller and wound in the direction of a circumference of the heat generating roller. Further, the magnetizing coil is disposed so that the bundles of wires mutually come into close contact along the circumference of the heat generating roller to cover the upper half of the heat generating roller.

    摘要: An antenna apparatus which exhibits excellent mechanical strength and which is protected from heat and moisture, and also which is mountable on a printed wiring board with the provision of a clearance between the apparatus and the board, free from deformation caused by a warp of the board. The antenna apparatus has a rectangular-prism shaped substrate. A feeding terminal and a fixing terminal are disposed at the respective end surfaces in the longitudinal direction of the substrate. Metal strips serving as support terminals are soldered at the respective first ends to the feeding terminal and the fixing terminal, respectively. A coating material formed of a non-metallic material, such as glass, resin or the like, is applied to the surface of the substrate by way of coating, dipping or other method. A coating layer is thus formed on the substrate in a state in which the respective second ends of the metal strips project from the substrate.

    摘要: A developing unit for use in image forming apparatus includes a unit housing divided in three chambers, i.e. a toner applying chamber facing a photoreceptor and first and second toner replenishing chambers, by respective partition walls each having an opening as a passage for toner. The first and second chambers have rotation frames, respectively. Each frame has a radially extending arm to the end of which a toner transporting sheet is connected. Each sheet is provided with a friction film. When each frame rotates, the sheet with the friction film is pulled by the frame for its rotation under the toner so as to be deformed in the form of a circular arc. The toner is transported forwardly by the friction force of the friction film. When the amount of toner is reduced in each chamber, each sheet may resiliently restore to its original shape to contact the inner surface of the corresponding chamber so that a small amount of toner on the bottom of each chamber can be carried forwardly.
