    Abstract: The present invention relates to a wireless access system supporting 256-ary Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (256QAM), and more particularly, to methods and apparatuses for transmitting and receiving a Physical Multicast Channel (PMCH) to provide Multimedia Broadcast and Multicast Service (MBMS). According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for receiving a Physical Multicast Channel (PMCH) by a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless access system supporting 256QAM includes receiving a System Information Block (SIB) including information for acquiring a Multicast Control Channel (MCCH), receiving a PMCH carrying an MCCH including Multimedia Broadcast and Multicast Service (MBMS) control information, and receiving a PMCH carrying a Multicast Traffic Channel (MTCH) including MBMS data based on the MBMS control information. 256QAM is not applied to the PMCH carrying the MCCH, and the UE determines a Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) and a Transport Block Size (TBS) using a second table supporting 256QAM to receive and demodulate the PMCH carrying the MTCH.

    Abstract: One embodiment of the present specification discloses an uplink transmission method in a multi-cell environment in which a single uplink resource is shared. The method may comprise: receiving control information that configures an uplink control channel and an uplink shared channel so that the uplink control channel and the uplink shared channel are not simultaneously transmitted on the same one uplink subframe, wherein the single uplink resource is shared by a first cell and a second cell; selecting any one of the uplink control channel and the uplink shared channel if a first Scheduling Request (SR) for the first cell and Uplink Control Information (UCI) for the second cell are requested to be simultaneously transmitted on the same subframe through the uplink control channel and the uplink shared channel, respectively; sending the selected channel on the uplink subframe.

    Abstract: The present specification provides a method and UE for receiving configuration usable for a discovery, which can be used in a small cell scenario. In detail, the UE is configured for receiving measurement configuration for a discovery signal, wherein the discovery signal includes CRS, PSS, and SSS. The discovery may further include a channel status information-reference signal (CSI-RS) depending on a configuration of the CSI-RS. The measurement configuration may include at least one set of configuration elements. The UE performs a measurement on the discovery signal based on the received configuration. Further, the UE receives channel status information-reference signal (CSI-RS) configuration including at least one set of CSI-RS configuration elements used for a zero power CSI-RS, wherein the CSI-RS configuration includes at least one set of CSI-RS configuration elements, each set of CSI-RS configuration elements includes CSI-RS interval information and CSI-RS offset information.

    Abstract: The present invention provides methods for configuring and transmitting a positioning reference signal (PRS) used for estimating the location of a machine type communication (MTC) terminal in a wireless access system supporting machine type communication (MTC), and an apparatus for supporting the same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for transmitting, by a base station, a positioning reference signal (PRS) used for estimating the location of a machine type communication (MTC) terminal in a wireless access system supporting MTC, comprises the steps of: repeating transmission of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) including the same downlink data N times; and transmitting the PRS in a PRS subframe (SF), wherein when the PRS SF consists of a normal subframe (SF) and a multimedia broadcast multicast service single frequency network (MBSFN) SF, a normal cyclic prefix (CP) is used as a CP to be applied to the PRS, and when the PRS SF consists of only the MBSFN SF, a CP applied to the PRS may be an extended CP.
