摘要： Various resonant modes of a multiresonant antenna structure share at least portions of the structure volume. The basic antenna element has a ground plane and a pair of spaced-apart conductors electrically connected to the ground plane. Additional elements are coupled to the basic element, such as by stacking, nesting or juxtaposition in an array. In this way, individual antenna structures share common elements and volumes, thereby increasing the ratio of relative bandwidth to volume.

摘要： A sub-band antenna matching method and an antenna matching system for selectively matching a communication bandwidth segment impedance have been provided. The method comprises: accepting a frequency-dependent impedance from an antenna; and, selectively supplying a conjugate impedance match for the antenna at a sub-band of a first communication band. In some aspects, the method selectively supplies a conjugate impedance match for the antenna at a sub-band of a second communication band. More specifically, the method comprises: tuning a first tuning circuit to a first frequency; simultaneously tuning a second tuning circuit to a second frequency to match the antenna at a low end of the first communication band. Likewise, the first tuning circuit is tuned to a third frequency and the second tuning circuit is tuned to a fourth frequency to match the antenna at a high end of the first communication band in response to the third and fourth frequencies.

摘要： The invention discloses a patch antenna structure in which a full transmission line is replaced by a set of transmission lines connected between two slots or radiative elements. Components can be inserted in the space between the transmission lines. In a second embodiment, the transmission lines are cranked or bended for a more compact dimension of transmission lines. The cranked or bended transmission lines can also be loaded by inductive elements. In a third embodiment, a patch antenna is constructed with n sets of transmission lines between the two slots, where each set of transmission line produces a different electrical length in accordance with a particular frequency. In a fourth embodiment, a set of intermediate filters is added within the transmission lines for differentiating the frequencies.
