Abstract: A UWB band pass filter that is formed by a circuit board. The circuit board includes a first dielectric layer made of a dielectric substrate, a filter structure made of electrically conductive material, on a first side of the first dielectric layer, a first ground layer made of electrically conductive material, on a second side of the first dielectric layer. The filter structure has an input terminal and an output terminal between which a line extends that includes multiple first line sections and second line sections, and wherein the filter structure has multiple stubs that are situated between the first line sections and that branch off from the second line sections. The first line sections and the stubs are situated in parallel. The longitudinal line of the middle first line sections is inserted, from which two open stubs that are rotationally symmetrical about the middle first line sections branch off.

Abstract: Flipped radio frequency (RF) and microwave filters and components for compact package assemblies are provided. An example RF filter is constructed by depositing a conductive trace, such as a redistribution layer, onto a flat surface of a substrate, to form an RF filter element. The substrate is vertically mounted on a motherboard, thereby saving dedicated area. Multiple layers of substrate can be laminated into a stack and mounted so that the RF filter elements of each layer are in vertical planes with respect to a horizontal motherboard, providing dramatic reduction in size. Deposited conductive traces of an example flipped RF filter stack can provide various stub configurations of an RF filter and emulate various distributed filter elements and their configuration geometries. The deposited conductive traces can also form other electronic components to be used in conjunction with the RF filter elements. A wirebond or bond via array (BVA™) version can provide flipped RF and microwave filters.

Abstract: A transmission line member includes a dielectric base body. At an intermediate point in a thickness direction of the dielectric base body, first and second signal conductors are disposed. A reference ground conductor is disposed at one side of the first and second signal conductors in the thickness direction, and an auxiliary ground conductor is disposed at the other side. At intermediate points of the first signal conductor, a coil conductor and a capacitor-defining plate conductor are disposed. The capacitor-defining plate conductor faces the reference ground conductor and the auxiliary ground conductor to connect a low pass filter and the first transmission line. A coil conductor is disposed between the second signal conductor and the reference ground conductor, and connected to the second signal conductor and the reference ground conductor to connect a high pass filter and the second transmission line.

Abstract: An RF circuit includes a first dielectric material, a signal line and a bias line over a first surface of the first dielectric material, a conductive layer over a second surface of the first dielectric material, and a second dielectric material over the conductive layer. The first and second dielectric materials have different dielectric constants. The conductive layer includes a ground plane over which the signal line is formed. A conductive material void, with which a section of the bias line is aligned, is present in the second conductive layer. The RF circuit further includes a mounting area for an RF device. First ends of the signal line and the section of the bias line are located proximate to the mounting area to enable the signal line and the bias line to be electrically coupled with one or more leads of the RF device.

The feeding matching apparatus of a multiband antenna includes: a grounding portion; a feeding portion connected to a signal source, where a signal of the signal source is input into the feeding portion; and two or more ground cable branches with different lengths, where one end of each ground cable branch is electrically connected to the feeding portion, the other end is electrically connected to the grounding portion, at least one ground cable branch is connected in series to a signal filtering component, and the signal filtering component is capable of preventing a signal lower than a frequency point corresponding to the signal filtering component from passing through it.
