    摘要: A variable displacement compressor having a pressurizing passage, which extends through a cylinder block. The pressurizing passage connects a discharge chamber and a crank chamber. A valve is arranged in the pressurizing passage. A drive shaft rotates and produces centrifugal force that causes the valve to open the pressurizing passage. The pressure of the crank chamber is increased when the rotation of the drive shaft is accelerated thereby opening the pressurizing passage with the valve. This moves a swash plate such that its inclination, relative to a plane perpendicular to the drive shaft, decreases. As a result, the compressor shifts from a maximum displacement state to a minimum displacement state, which improves the acceleration performance of an engine connected to the compressor. Furthermore, the displacement of the compressor in the minimum displacement state is 50% of that in the maximum displacement state. This prevents an excessive decrease in the cooling capability of the compressor.

    摘要: A compressor has a control valve that adjusts the pressure difference between a crank chamber and a cylinder bore for controlling the inclination of a drive plate. The control valve protrudes outward from the compressor housing. The compressor also has a support protruding outward from the front housing and a leg protruding outward from the cylinder block. The outer ends of the support and the leg extend further from the compressor than the furthest extremity the control valve. Therefore, when the compressor is placed on a flat surface, the support and the leg prevent the control valve from contacting the surface. This protects the control valve from damage during transport and handling.

    摘要: A control valve for a variable displacement compressor. The control valve has a valve body for regulating a gas passage. A bellows actuates the valve body in accordance with an operating pressure introduced to a pressure sensing chamber. A solenoid biases the valve body with a force based on the electric current supplied to the solenoid. A cylindrical cap is fitted to a cylindrical portion provided on a housing of the control valve. The bellows is located in the pressure sensing chamber. The axial position of the cap in relation to the cylindrical portion is adjusted such that the bellows is positioned at a specific initial position when a pressure having a predetermined magnitude is introduced to the pressure sensing chamber and when a current having a predetermined value is supplied to the solenoid. The cap is secured to the cylindrical portion by crimping with the bellows positioned at the initial position.

The compressor includes a supply passage for connecting a discharge chamber with a crank chamber. The control valve is placed midway on the supply passage. The control valve has a valve body. The valve body moves in a first direction to open the supply passage and moves in the second direction to close the supply passage. A reacting member reacts to suction pressure. A first transmitting member is placed between the reacting member and the valve body. A solenoid is opposed to the reacting member with respect to the valve body. The solenoid urges the valve body in the second direction via a second transmitting member when the solenoid is excited. An urging device urges the valve body in the first direction, The first transmitting member connects the reacting member with the valve body to move the valve body toward or away from the reacting member. The urging device causes the valve body to fully open the supply passage when the solenoid is de-exited.

    摘要: A compressor having a cam plate disposed in a crank chamber and mounted on a drive shaft. The cam plate is tiltable between a maximum inclined angle position and a minimum inclined angle position with respect to a plane perpendicular to an axis of the drive shaft according to a differential pressure in the crank chamber and in a cylinder bore. The cam plate varies the stroke of a piston based on an inclination thereof to control the displacement of the compressor. The supply passage has an inlet that is open in the discharge chamber. A control valve is disposed midway on the supply passage. The control valve adjusts the amount of the gas introduced into the crank chamber from the discharge chamber through the supply passage to control the pressure in the crank chamber. A filter is disposed at the inlet of the supply passage to filter the oil. The filter captures foreign matter mixed with the oil when the gas containing the oil is introduced into the supply passage from the discharge chamber.

    摘要: In control method and apparatus for data transfer in an external storage subsystem, a disk unit and a control unit interposed between a host channel and a processing unit are provided and data in a variable record length supplied from the host is converted to data in a fixed record length to write it in the disk unit. Thus, the area of erasing and the number of times of execution are minimized and the throughput of the data transfer between the processing unit and the rotating storage device is improved.

The piston compresses a gas supplied from the external circuit to the internal gas passage and discharges the gas to the external circuit. A inhibiting apparatus inhibits the circulation of the gas through the internal gas passage and the external circuit when the swash plate is located between the minimum inclining angle and a first inclining angle. The first inclining angle is greater than the minimum inclining angle of the swash plate.

    摘要: A variable displacement compressor having a rotary shaft and a swash plate is described. The swash plate is mounted on the shaft and rotates integrally with the shaft. The swash plate tilts between a maximum inclined angle and a minimum inclined angle and is connected to a plurality of pistons. The inclined angle of the swash plate is altered by the difference between the pressure in a crank chamber and the pressure in a suction chamber. Each piston reciprocates inside a cylinder bore with a stroke determined by the inclined angle of the swash plate and compresses refrigerant gas, which includes oil mist. A spool is arranged adjacent to the swash plate on the shaft. On the shaft, a thrust bearing is provided between the swash plate and the spool, and a radial bearing is provided in the spool.
