    摘要: A barrier device includes: liquid crystal barriers extending in a first direction and disposed away from a display plane of a display section that displays an image. The liquid crystal barriers include a liquid crystal layer and sub-electrodes and allow light to transmit therethrough and block the light. The liquid crystal barriers structure at least one group of the liquid crystal barriers. The sub-electrodes, belonging to a first liquid crystal barrier of a pair of the liquid crystal barriers, adjoin, in a second direction, the sub-electrodes belonging to a second liquid crystal barrier in the pair of the liquid crystal barriers. The pair of the liquid crystal barriers are adjacent to each other in the at least one group of the liquid crystal barriers, and the second direction is different from both of a vertical direction and a horizontal direction within the display plane of the display section.

    摘要: An eye examination apparatus includes an accommodation power acquisition unit, a corrected accommodation power calculation unit, a drive unit and an accommodative microfluctuation measurement unit. The accommodation power acquisition unit acquires an accommodation power which is determined from a difference between a near point and a distant point of an examined eye. The corrected accommodation power calculation unit calculates an integrated value of the accommodation power and a correction coefficient. The drive unit drives a vision target in a direction of an optical axis of the examined eye. The accommodative microfluctuation measurement unit controls the drive unit to cause the vision target to be arranged onto a corrected accommodation position corresponding to the integrated value, such that the accommodative microfluctuation measurement unit measures an eye accommodation function based on a frequency of appearance of a high frequency component representative of ciliary body accommodative microfluctuation.

An aperture ratio of a light source is set as 1/N, and liquid lenses are disposed at distances of focal lengths of the first liquid lens and the second liquid lens from the light source, respectively. A position controlling portion changes a position of a nonpolar liquid by a size of each of luminescent pixels as represented by the first liquid lens and the second liquid lens, which results in that emitted lights from respective luminescent pixels pass through either the first liquid lens or the second liquid lens to be emitted in directions different from one another as shown in the form of lights. The present embodiments can be applied to a parallax image displaying device.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a fuel cell including: a membrane electrode assembly (2) having a fuel electrode (13), an air electrode (16), and an electrolyte membrane (17) sandwiched therebetween; and a fuel storage unit (4) storing a liquid fuel. The fuel cell is capable of continuously generating electricity for long hours only by being replenished with a fuel, and therefore, attempts have been made to miniaturize the fuel cell to use it as a power source of portable electronic devices. When the membrane electrode assembly and the fuel storage unit in the fuel cell are connected via a flow path, a fuel supply state becomes uneven depending on the shape and the like of the flow path even though a supply amount of the fuel can be adjusted, which causes a problem such as a decrease in an output of the fuel cell. The present invention solves the aforethe problem by providing, in the fuel cell, a fuel distributing mechanism (3) which supplies the fuel to a plurality of places of the fuel electrode, and connecting the fuel distributing mechanism and the fuel storage unit via the flow path (5).
