    摘要： A digital camera comprises an imaging device; an internal memory; an attachment device that attaches a storage medium; a medium detector that detects whether the storage medium attached to the attachment device is a storage medium limiting overwrite; and a record control device that controls so as to store image data taken by the imaging device in the storage medium attached to the attachment device. When the medium detector detects that the storage medium attached to the attachment device is the storage medium limiting overwrite, the record control device controls so as to store data management information of the image data recorded in the storage medium limiting overwrite in the internal memory.

The digital camera 1 is constituted as a portable telephone integrated digital camera, and the transmission of image and the storage and the display of post-subsampling data are achieved by utilizing the standard functions of the portable telephone.

    摘要： An image storage system includes: an image storage apparatus; and a supporting apparatus. And the image storage apparatus includes an input unit to which image information is input, a first communication unit, a management unit that executes management so that the input image information is transmitted from the first communication unit in automatic response to an input of the image information to the input unit, an information holding unit that holds the input image information until a transmission thereof is completed and then automatically discards the input image information after the transmission is completed in response to the management unit, an information storage unit at which related information corresponding to the image information having been transmitted is stored even after the transmission is completed, and an instruction unit that issues an instruction via the first communication unit with regard to processing to be executed on the image information based upon the related information stored at the information storage unit. On the other hand the supporting apparatus includes a second communication unit, an image storage unit at which the image information from the first communication unit having been received at the second communication unit is stored, and a processing unit that executes processing on images stored at the image storage unit based upon the instruction received at the second communication unit from the first communication unit.

The print system copies information of the received print order file into the order data area of the received image file. The print system produces a print of the image data in the image file according to the information in the order data area of the image file. The print system has a printer capable of producing a print of a predetermined image data provided by a third party as well as that of the image data of the customer. The print system delivers to the customer the print ordered by the customer as well as the print of the predetermined image data. The print system selects a group of orders among all the orders in accordance with the destination of delivery for controlling the printer to give priority to the group of orders in producing the prints. The print system forbids the printer to produce the print of the image data of the same customer until a predetermined time. The order from the customer is made through a handy phone capable of controlling a digital camera through a wireless system.

    摘要： An electronic camera includes an image pickup device, a memory, a face detecting section, a face recognizing section, and an object specifying section. The image pickup device photo-electrically converts an image of an object into an electric signal and generates an image signal as the electric signal. The memory has recorded registration data representing characterizing points of faces as recognizing targets. The face detecting section detects face areas in a shooting image plane based on the image signal and extracts characterizing points of faces of objects from the face areas. The face recognizing section determines whether or not the face areas are the recognizing targets based on data of the characterizing points corresponding to the face areas and on the registration data. The object specifying section specifies as a main object an object present on nearest side of the electronic camera of objects as the recognizing targets.
