Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) to measure self-interference between multiple transmission reception points (TRPs) of the UE and initiate sidelink full duplex communications based on the measured self-interference. The UE may transmit a message to a base station to request resources for sidelink communications by the UE and indicate an intended self-interference measurement by the UE using the resources. The base station may transmit a grant scheduling the resources for the self-interference measurement by the UE. The UE may measure interference between a TRP of the UE that is configured for transmission and a TRP of the UE that is configured for reception using the scheduled resources. The UE may transmit a sidelink feedback message indicating resources that are available for sidelink full duplex communications by the UE based on the measured self-interference.

In some aspects, an encoder device may transmit a network coded sidelink retransmission that is associated with a set of transport blocks (TBs), the set of TBs associated with one or more sidelink transmissions. The encoder device may receive, from one or more user equipments (UEs), first feedback information, associated with the network coded sidelink retransmission, that indicates whether the one or more UEs successfully decoded the set of TBs. The encoder device may transmit, to a base station, second feedback information associated with the network coded sidelink retransmission that is based at least in part on the first feedback information. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The techniques described herein may enable frequency domain interleaving for a transmission direction depending on a codeblock mapping configuration, a transport block size, or both. For example, a device (e.g., a user equipment (UE) or a base station) may use an existence of self-interference (e.g., existence of communications in a different transmission direction), a frequency domain allocation, a codeblock size, a number of codeblocks mapped per symbol, or a combination thereof for determining the interleaving. Additionally, the device may determine the frequency domain interleaving based on a transport block size configured for a transmission direction in a full-duplex slot. For example, a table with different ranges of transport block size along with interleaver depth or different interleaver patterns may be configured, and the device can determine the interleaver design based on the table.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a receiving sidelink user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first original message from a first transmitting sidelink UE. The method also includes receiving, from a network coding device, a network coded (NC) packet that is coded across the first original message and a second original message from a second transmitting sidelink UE. The first original message corresponds to a first transport block. The second original message corresponds to a second transport block. The method further includes transmitting a first negative acknowledgment (NACK) in response to the first transport block being unsuccessfully decoded. The method still further includes transmitting a second NACK in response to the second transport block being unsuccessfully decoded. The method still further includes transmitting a first acknowledgment (ACK) in response to the first transport block being successfully decoded.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for retransmission of sidelink transmissions using network coding. A transmitting device transmits a transport block and a request for a NC encoding device to retransmit the transport block to a plurality of UEs. The NC encoding device transmits a packet encoding a plurality of transport blocks previously transmitted by one or more transmitting devices. The NC encoding device receives a plurality of acknowledgments (ACK) or negative acknowledgments (NACK) for the plurality of transport blocks from the plurality of UEs. The NC encoding device determines whether a respective transport block has satisfied an ACK condition based on the plurality of ACKs or NACKs from the plurality of UEs. The NC encoding device transmits an acknowledgment message to the one or more transmitting devices for at least the respective transport block.
