Abstract: A network device is provided with excessive interference mitigation. In one implementation, the network device transmits a notification of the excessive interference to a network entity. In another implementation, the network device changes a receive beam or begins to acquire a new cell in response to a detection of the excessive interference. In yet another implementation, the network device alerts a user in response to a detection of the excessive interference.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication that the UE supports a plurality of cyclic prefix configurations. The UE may receive, from a network entity, an indication of a first cyclic prefix configuration of the plurality of cyclic prefix configurations, the first cyclic prefix configuration indicating a first symbol period structure that includes a guard interval that occurs in a symbol period prior to a portion of the symbol period copied as a cyclic prefix based at least in part on a delay spread exceeding a length of the cyclic prefix. The UE may communicate one or more messages with the network entity in accordance with the first cyclic prefix configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may receive an uplink transmission from a user equipment (UE) over a wireless channel and measure a post-digital post-distortion (post-DPOD) signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the uplink transmission. The base station may generate a power output back-off indication for the UE according to the post-DPOD SNR and a change in a post-DPOD noise level of the transmission between a non-linear distortion noise component and a thermal noise component. The base station may transmit the power output back-off indication and a downlink transmission to the UE. In response, the base station may receive an uplink transmission from the UE over the wireless channel. The uplink transmission may be based on the power output back-off indication, a signal quality metric of the downlink transmission, or both.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An assistive node may include circuitry for operating in an amplifying mode and operating in a reflecting mode. The assistive node may transmit a message to a network entity indicating that the assistive node is capable of operating in an amplifying mode or a reflecting mode. The network entity may transmit scheduling information to the assistive node for a packet transmission to be reflected or amplified by the assistive node to a wireless device, for example, because a direct path between the network entity and the wireless device is blocked. The network entity may transmit control signaling to the assistive node configuring the assistive node to either reflect or amplify the packet transmission to the wireless device. The assistive node may reflect or amplify the packet transmission to the wireless device based on the control signaling.

In response, the UE may transmit one or more uplink messages over one or more resources of the second set of resources in accordance with the second set of uplink power control parameters or the set of power offsets.
