Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Interference between random access channel (RACH) transmissions and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) transmissions may be avoided with a RACH occasion forbidden mask and a dynamic indication of availability of downlink retransmission resources. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a RACH configuration and a forbidden mask associated with the RACH configuration. The UE may identify, from a set of random access occasions indicated by the RACH configuration, a subset of allowed random access occasions based on the forbidden mask. The UE may transmit a random access message during at least one allowed random access occasion of the subset. Additionally or alternatively, a base station may determine whether one or more transmissions on a component carrier (CC) were successful, and transmit downlink control information (DCI) indicating whether a set of random access occasions are available on the CC.

Abstract: A user equipment may be configured to perform predictive methods for SSB beam measurements. In some aspects, the user equipment may receive, from at least a base station, a first set of one or more synchronization signal block beam identifiers corresponding to a first set of one or more SSB beams belonging to a SSB burst, and receive, from at least the base station, the SSB burst including the first set of one or more SSB beams. Further, the user equipment may transmit, to at least the base station, one or more of: reporting information for a second set of one or more SSB beams or indications corresponding to the second set of one or more SSB beams, the second set of one or more SSB beams determined based on a prediction model and the first set of one or more SSB beams.

Abstract: A scheduled entity receives a communication from a scheduling entity that facilitates a configuration on how to connect with a plurality of candidate cells. The scheduled entity then exchanges information about the plurality of candidate cells with the scheduling entity via Layer 1 (L1)/Layer 2 (L2) signaling, and connects with at least one of the plurality of candidate cells based on the L1/L2 signaling and the configuration. In another example, a scheduling entity transmits a communication to a scheduled entity to pre-configure the scheduled entity on how to connect with a plurality of candidate cells. The scheduling entity then receives information about the plurality of candidate cells from the scheduled entity via L1/L2 signaling, and dynamically selects via the L1/L2 signaling at least one of the plurality of candidate cells to serve the scheduled entity.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may receive, from a user equipment (UE), a measurement report associated with at least one downlink beam corresponding to a first transmit receive point (TRP). The base station may transmit, to the UE and using a second TRP, a communication using a selected downlink beam corresponding to the second TRP, wherein the selected downlink beam is selected based at least in part on a beam inference generated using a machine learning component, and wherein the beam inference is based at least in part on the measurement report and a location of the second TRP relative to a location of the first TRP. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: A UE may identify, in each round other than an initial round, a first plurality of local model update elements of a present round. The first plurality of local model update elements of the present round may be associated with an updated local machine learning model. The UE may transmit to a base station, in each round other than the initial round, over a multiple access channel via analog signaling, a second plurality of local model update elements of the present round based on a third plurality of local model update elements of the present round. The third plurality of local model update elements of the present round may correspond to a sum of the first plurality of local model update elements of the present round and a local model update error of a previous round immediately before the present round. The analog signaling may be associated with OTA aggregation.
