摘要： The present invention relates to wideband wireless access system, and more particularly to an effective method for transmitting control information during the combination of multiple carriers. As one embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a method by which a base station allocates a carrier to a terminal in a wideband wireless access system supporting multiple carriers, the method comprising: transmitting, to the terminal, a terminal specific or terminal group specific carrier allocation information that includes information about at least one of control information and data; and transmitting, to the terminal, a carrier combination control information that includes information about a change in the at least one candidate carrier available.

User equipment receives an uplink grant including an uplink resource allocation and a channel quality indicator (CQI) request via one downlink carrier from among a plurality of downlink carriers. A user equipment monitors a plurality of candidate control channels within a control region of a subframe and receives reference control information on a reference control channel which is successfully decoded. The user equipment monitors the control region on a basis of the reference control information and receives link control information on a linked control channel which is successfully decoded. The link control information includes resource assignment information used to receive or transmit data packets via a plurality of component carriers.

Accordingly, control channel traffic can be prevented from concentrating on a particular carrier, and a diversity gain can be achieved.
