    摘要: Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a first communication node operating in a wireless communications network. The first communication node adjusts a value of a Contention Window, CW, from a first value to a second value, the second value being a higher value than the first value, wherein adjusting the value is based on: one or more feedback timers having expired at a time of performing a sensing procedure in the absence of: a) a received uplink, UL, grant from a second communication node, or b) a downlink feedback from the second communication node for an Autonomous Uplink, AUL, transmission from the first communication node. Following adjusting the value, the first communication node initiates a sensing procedure performed prior to a transmission of an UL burst to the second communication node, wherein the sensing procedure uses the adjusted value of the CW.

    摘要: A method for accessing a cellular communications network in unlicensed spectrum is provided. More specifically, the method is related to performing a Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) procedure prior to transmitting a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) preamble for accessing a New Radio-Unlicensed (NR-U) network. A User Equipment (UE) first performs the LBT procedure. If the LBT procedure is successful, the UE then generates a punctured PRACH preamble and transmits the punctured PRACH preamble. By puncturing the PRACH preamble, it is possible to create a gap(s) for performing the LBT procedure in a way that is backward compatible with existing NR-U specification and does not reduce a number of random access occasions in a slot or a mini-slot. As a result, it is possible to transmit PRACH preambles in consecutive random access occasions, thus helping to increase spectrum utilization and reduce latency in the cellular communications network.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus are provided to support CBG-based retransmission on configured UL resources. The base station provides downlink feedback information (DPI) to the UE for one or more HARQ processes. The DPI comprises TB-level feedback, retransmission control information, and CBG-level feedback. The TB-level feedback indicates, for each HARQ process, ACK/NACK of a transport block associated with the HARQ process. The retransmission control information indicates, for each NACK'ed TB, whether the base station expects retransmission at the TB level or a CBG level. The CBG-level feedback indicates, for each NACK'ed TB where the CBG-indicator bitmap indicates code block group level retransmission, ACK/NACK for one or more CBGs in the NACK'ed transport block.

    摘要: Apparatuses and methods are disclosed for block interleaving. In one embodiment, a method includes generating an interleaver sequence for a control resource set, CORESET, configuration for a physical downlink control channel, the interleaver sequence associated with an interleaving matrix; optionally, for each one of an allowed value of number of rows for the interleaving matrix, determining a number of null entries to be added to the interleaving matrix; and selecting a number of rows, R, for the interleaving matrix such that the number of null entries to be added to the interleaving matrix is: no more than a number of columns, C, of the interleaving matrix; and optionally, the smallest among the numbers of null entries determined for each of the allowed values of number of rows for the interleaving matrix. In another embodiment, a method includes decomposing the interleaver sequence.
