    摘要： An image display device and method are provided. The image playing device includes a display, a storage means, an information acquiring unit, and a comparing unit. The storage means stores images and related information related to the images. The information acquiring unit obtains an image resolution of an image to be displayed and a display resolution of the display, both of which are measured in pixels and are represented by a height resolution and a width resolution. The comparing unit compares the image resolution and the display resolution to determine whether the image fits the display. If so, the image is displayed full screen and the related information is displayed as a data stamp on the image. If not, the image is zoomed out to fit the width or height of the display screen or is displayed full size and the related information is displayed in a margin area.

    摘要： A method with television (TV) tuning function applied on a digital photo frame (DPF) is provided. The method includes: fetching a prompt time of at least one particular TV program; determining whether a prompt time of a particular TV program is about to arrive or has already arrived at the current time; fetching a prompt signal of the particular TV program whose prompt time is about to arrive or has already arrived, and outputting the prompt signal to prompt a particular TV program is being aired or about to air; switching the DPF from the DPF mode to a TV mode and providing the channel parameter of the particular TV program upon receiving a mode switching signal during the outputting of the prompt signal; and; and receiving and playing the particular TV program according to the channel parameter. A related DPF is also provided.

    摘要： An electronic device includes a storage unit, a touch input unit, a display unit, and a processor. The storage unit stores a relationship table recording a mapping relationship between touch inputs and a number of commands associated with the touch inputs. The touch input unit generates signals in response to user's touch input. The processor includes a control module and an identification module. The control module controls displaying the sensed handwritten content on the display unit. The identification module recognizes the touch input of the sensed handwritten content and identifies if the touch input of the recognized handwritten content is associated with a command according to the signals and the relationship table. The control module also controls the electronic device to execute the associated command.

The remote apparatus determines the selected appliance and the selected function based upon a wireless signal carrying an identification transmitted by the mobile terminal, determines an infrared remote control code, and emits an infrared signal carrying the infrared remote control code. A light directing element received in the housing directs the infrared signal emitting by the infrared transmitting unit and the infrared remote control signal from the attached remote control to exit the housing through the infrared signal transmitting window, thereby controlling the selected appliance to execute the selected function.
