摘要： A lighting assembly includes: a heat sink having a mounting surface for a light source; a light source board having said light source thereon, said light source board being arranged against said mounting surface and having an outer perimeter edge, and a drive board carrying drive circuitry for said light source, said drive board being fixed onto said heat sink with said light source board sandwiched therebetween, said drive board having an aperture with an inner edge complementary to said outer edge of said light source board, whereby said light source is left uncovered by said drive board, and wherein: said inner edge of said drive board has an inwardly protruding frame formation with said outer perimeter edge of said light source board abutting against said frame formation, and said light source board has a thickness whereby said drive board and said mounting surface have a clearance therebetween.

The lens assembly and the base are in threaded connection, providing an increased force bearing surface and even force bearing therebetween, resulting in a secure connection, good leakproofness, and convenient installation and removal. The sealing ring is disposed at the connection of the lens assembly and the base, allowing for an excellent sealing effect between the lens assembly and the base.

摘要： An LED light unit which creates an air movement over a metal surface by way of convection. This keeps the LED unit significantly cooler than with just fins alone. This is accomplished by the design of a lamp. The LED chip transfers the heat to the metal surface and the hot air near that metal rises and starts a flow through channels designed into the lamp. This brings in cooler air over the metal surface in a directed method by convection to achieve better cooling of the LED chip area.
