    摘要: A method and system for calibrating a plurality of modules in a communication system is provided. The method may include selecting a plurality of modules with at least one output signal and calibrating an amplitude of each selected module to be within a specified range if the amplitude is out of the specified range via a gain control processing circuit of the selected module, wherein the plurality of modules may be calibrated in an order starting with a first module located at an input of a signal path and ending with a module located at an output of the signal path. The DC component and amplitude of the envelope of the output signal may be detected by circuitry within the selected module. Muxes may be utilized to route the DC component and amplitude of the envelope to a feedback control processing circuit.

    摘要: A method to provide a low-power clock signal or a low-noise clock signal is described herein. It is determined whether a low-power mode or a low-noise mode is in use. A voltage reference input of a low-dropout voltage regulator (LDO) is switched to a low-power voltage reference for low-power mode and to a low-noise voltage reference for low-noise mode. The LDO provides a constant voltage output to a crystal oscillator. A clock signal is generated using the crystal oscillator. The clock signal is limited using a low-power limiter to generate a low-power output clock signal and/or is limited using a low-noise limiter to generate a low-noise clock signal. The low-power output clock signal or the low-noise output clock signal is selected using a mux.

The local oscillation generator further includes a first transconductance stage to provide a first related frequency to the mixing stage when a first switch selectably enables a first power path in the first transconductance stage. The local oscillation generator further includes a second transconductance stage to provide a second related frequency to the mixing stage when a second switch selectably enables a second power path in the second transconductance stage. The local oscillation generator further includes a number of dividers, where an output of a first divider provides the first related frequency to an input of the first transconductance stage, and where an output of a second divider provides the second related frequency to an input of the second transconductance stage.

A DC reference voltage associated with the I component and the Q component may be determined. The determined amplitude voltage may be compared with the determined reference voltage to generate a control signal. The amplitude mismatch between the I component and the Q component may be compensated by controlling a biasing current of one or more programmable buffers associated with one or both of the I component and the Q component, based on the generated control signal.

    摘要: Employing an asymmetric protocol, multiple sources reliably broadcast dynamically changing routing tables incrementally across multiple consumers from a single distributor. Each of multiple sources sends current tables to the distributor using a snapshot mechanism. Messages are buffered, segmented, paced by timers, and broadcast to the consumers repetitively at the distributor. Negative acknowledgments from the consumer request missing messages from the distributor after receipt of a keepalive message from the distributor. The distributor marks the missing messages and retransmits replacements from a history buffer only after firing of a resend timer. A unique Session ID included in all messages originating from each particular source facilitates reliable table distribution from multiple sources to multiple consumers via a single distributor.
