Abstract:
A dummy hard disk drive (HDD) includes a bottom plate, two first side plates pivotably connected to two opposite sides of the bottom plate, and two second side plates pivotably connected to two opposite ends of the bottom plate. The first side plates and the second side plates are operable to rotate relative to the bottom plate, until the first side plates and the second side plates are substantially perpendicular to the bottom plate to form a rectangular frame. The first side plates and the second side plate are operable to rotate relative to the bottom plate, until the first side plates and the second side plate are substantially coplanar with the bottom plate so as to form a flat plate.
Abstract:
A hard disk device comprises a main portion and two pads connected to the main portion. The main portion includes a front end, a rear end opposite to the front end, a top surface, a bottom surface opposite to the top surface, a first side surface and a second side surface opposite to the first side surface. The first side surface defines a connecting hole located nearby the front end, and the second side surface defines a connecting hole located nearby the front end. Each pad includes a shank portion and a head portion connected to an end of the shank portion. The head portion includes a connecting portion connected to the shank portion and an external portion surrounding the connecting portion. The shank portion is fixedly inserted into a corresponding connecting hole. Portion of the external portion protrudes from the bottom surface of the main portion.
Abstract:
A suspension apparatus includes a casing, a fixing member received in the casing, and a hanging portion extending from a first end of the casing. The fixing member includes two latches. First ends of the latches are rotatably connected to each other. Each latch includes a tab extending from a second end of the latch and extending through a second end of the casing, and an operation portion extending from the latch and extending through one of opposite sides of the casing. The latches to rotate relative to each other to drive the tabs of the latches closer or farther apart.
Abstract:
A motherboard includes a switching circuit, a serial advanced technology attachment (SATA) connector, and a peripheral component interconnect x16 (PCIEx16) connector. The switching circuit is connected to the SATA connector and the PCIEx16 connector. The PCIEx16 is also connected to a serial attached small computer system interface (SCSI) (SAS) card. The switching circuit is disconnected from the PCIEx16 connector if a SATA hard disk drive (HDD) is connected to the SATA connector. The motherboard communicates with the SATA HDD through the switching circuit and the SATA connector. The switching circuit is connected to the PCIEx16 connector if the SATA connector is connected to an SAS HDD. The motherboard communicates with the SAS HDD through the SATA connector, the switching circuit, the PCIEx16 connector, and the SAS card.
Abstract:
A fixing apparatus includes a circuit board and a support member. A connector is installed on the circuit board. The support member includes a first connection portion to be electrically connected to an electronic device, and a second connection portion formed below the first connection portion and electrically connected to the first connection portion. The second connection portion is plugged into the connector of the circuit board, to elevate the electronic device.
Abstract:
A cable connector assembly includes a first cable connector, a second cable connector, a locking element, and a retaining frame. The first cable connector includes a first base portion. The second cable connector includes a second base portion. The retaining frame includes a front wall. The front wall defines a mounting hole. The mounting hole includes a pair of lengthwise sides and a pair of widthwise sides. The first base portion and the second base portion are slidably received in the mounting hole. The first base portion contacts one of the widthwise sides. The second base portion contacts the first base portion. The locking element is mounted in the mounting hole and squeezed between the second base portion and the other widthwise side to push the second base portion to press on the first base portion.
Abstract:
A heat dissipation device includes a number of fans and a fixing member. Each fan includes two spaced boards respectively defining a number of through holes. The fixing member is sandwiched between the boards of each fan, at a corner of the fan. The fixing member includes two engaging portions movably relative to each other. A number of pins are formed on each engaging portion for respectively engaging in the through holes of the fans.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a bottom plate, a circuit board having an electronic component, a fan, and an airflow guide member. The circuit board is fixed to the bottom plate. The fan is arranged at the front of the circuit board. The airflow guide member is arranged between the fan and the circuit board. The airflow guide member includes an airflow guide wall defining a number of spaced slots, and a number of stop plates selectively inserted into the corresponding slots of the airflow guide wall, to leave some of the slots directly in front of the bottom of the electronic component open.
Abstract:
A notebook computer assembly includes a notebook computer and a supporting apparatus. The notebook computer includes a main body and a display pivotably attached to the main body. The supporting apparatus includes a receiving portion for receiving the display of the notebook computer, with the main body keeping an angle with the display ranging from about 0 degrees to about 180 degrees.
Abstract:
A clamp includes a main shaft, a clamping sleeve, an elastic element, and a securing cap. The main shaft includes a base portion and a guide bar. The base portion includes a first end surface, and a second end surface. The base portion defines a first receiving hole in the second end surface. The guide bar extends from the base portion. The clamping sleeve is arranged around the guide bar, and includes an outer sidewall for allowing a cable to wind. The elastic element is arranged around the guide bar. The securing cap is threadedly engaged with the guide bar, and the securing cap configured for rotatably operated to press the elastic element toward the clamping sleeve, such that the elastic element pushes the clamping sleeve against the base portion to clamp the cable between the outer sidewall and an inner sidewall of the base portion.
