Abstract:
A single-track stacking panel covering for an architectural opening has a headrail for mounting the covering above and in front of the opening, such as a window or door. The headrail has a single track. Suspended from the headrail and translatable therealong are panels oriented at a small angle relative to the headrail. When the covering is open, the panels form an overlappingly stacked array at one end of the headrail.
Abstract:
Curtains are provided which have fastener/s and, in some cases, strut/s arranged along a screen. The strut/s extend to elevation/s below and/or above the fastener/s. An upper strut may have a lower degree of stiffness than a lower strut. In some cases, the fastener/s are arranged at least 20 inches from the screen's upper edge. Systems are described which include a disinfection apparatus and any of such curtains. Other systems include any of such curtains attached to an edge of a room divider. Easily assembled and disassembled room dividers are described which include cord/s and/or pole/s, installed or portable device/s for supporting the cords/poles, and fasteners for attaching a curtain to the cords/poles. A disinfection apparatus is described which includes a shield extending to an elevation at least two feet above a germicidal light source and borders at least one third of a continuous region surrounding the germicidal light source.
Abstract:
A curtain system is described which includes a curtain having a plurality of rod engaging members attached thereto, a plurality of rods each having a first end, and a curtain release mechanism attached to the rod at the first end thereof. The rod engaging members each includes a stem having a first end and a second end and a yoke extending from the first end of the stem. The curtain release mechanisms have a slot formed therein and extending therethrough and also include a user operable mechanism for retention of the yoke upon insertion into the slot. The user operable mechanism is further operable for substantially simultaneous release of the yokes and therefore the curtain from the curtain release mechanisms.
Abstract:
A magnetic window valance is disclosed. The magnetic window valance can include a sheet of ferromagnetic material, and a decorative layer disposed about the sheet of ferromagnetic material. The magnetic window valance can also include a curtain rod coupling portion extending in a first direction from the decorative layer, and a tab extending in a second direction from the decorative layer and supporting a magnet configured to couple with a proximal magnetic window valance.
Abstract:
A drapery system for forming a window drapery of user-selected length. The system includes first and second drapery sections and at least one fastener for selectively and overlappingly attaching the drapery sections without stitching or sewing. A method of forming a drapery of user-selectable length is also provided.

Abstract:
The invention provides a mounting system for holding one or more affinity displays upon a window in an exceptionally stable manner. The apparatus comprises a drape that is capable of being wrapped around the edge or frame edge of a window, and the drape is also attached to a plurality of surface mounting components. The drape is further linked to the affinity display.
Abstract:
A kit for attaching a decorative shutter cover to an associated window shutter is disclosed. The kit comprises a shutter cover which covers a portion or a substantial portion of the window shutter. The kit may further include an attachment member that attaches to the top of the window shutter. The top of the shutter cover and the attachment member can connect to each other. The kit may further comprise a securing member for securing the bottom of the shutter cover to the window shutter. The shutter cover may include a graphic display thereon, such as decorative or artistic representations. Additional interchangeable shutter covers may also be provided with the same or different graphic displays depicted thereon.
Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to enable easy installation and displaying of a quilt, textile or similar on a vertical mounting surface invisibly. It also removes the critical need for leveling devices to obtain precision horizontal installation, still allowing for proper horizontal display of the quilt. Powerful magnets, center point mounting, and variable length rod enables display and easy switching out of different sized textiles. Using an adjustable rod across the full width of the quilt ensures proper support as well as full exposure of the quilt [or viewing without the distraction of the mounting device itself being evident. Options in device mounting make it possible to remove and re-install without damaging the vertical surface on which it was mounted. No compression of the textile is used that might result in fading (evident in most textiles exposed to light) of the quilt.

A curtain system is described which includes a curtain having a plurality of rod engaging members attached thereto, a plurality of rods each having a first end, and a curtain release mechanism attached to each rod at the first end thereof. The rod engaging members each include a stem having a first end and a second end, the first end of the stem configured for engagement with the curtain release mechanism, and a keyway formed in the stem and proximate the first end of the stem.
