摘要： A covering assembly for a building opening is disclosed, which includes a first frame and a second frame with one in front of the other. The first frame has a first shield structure provided thereon to shade or open a surrounded opening of the first frame, and the second frame has a second shield structure provided thereon to shade or open a surrounded opening of the second frame. The first frame further has a first positioning structure, and the second frame has a second positioning structure, wherein the second positioning structure and the first positioning structure are mortised together, so that the first frame and the second frame could be quickly aligned with each other and mortised together while installing.

摘要： A compression mount assembly is provided for securing a window covering to a window frame by compression forces between vertical sides of the window frame on opposite sides of the window. A housing is coupled to the window covering and a slide translates linearly within a cavity in the housing away from the housing to abut the side of the window frame. A driver, such as a spring, is located between the slide and the housing to urge the slide away from the housing. A trigger is provided which holds the slide adjacent the housing, until the trigger is activated by pushing a button to release the slide from the housing and allow the slide to translate away from the housing. A fixed end cap is provided for an end of the window covering opposite the compression mount assembly and for abutting against an opposite side of the window frame.

摘要： Provided herein are methods of incorporating additives into thin-film solar cell substrates and back contacts. In certain embodiments, sodium is incorporated into a substrate or a back contact of a thin-film photovoltaic stack where it can diffuse into a CIGS or other absorber layer to improve efficiency and/or growth of the layer. The methods involve laser treating the substrate or back contact in the presence of a sodium (or sodium-containing) solid or vapor to thereby incorporate sodium into the surface of the substrate or back contact. In certain embodiments, the surface is simultaneously smoothed.

摘要： A fire resistant louver system and method of making the same includes a plurality of overlapping louvers mounted in a frame for insertion in a door or wall with the louvers arranged to define a circuitous passage there between that allows air flow from one side to the other of the system. The strips of intumescent material mounted on at least selected ones of the louvers so that when the system is subjected to heat above a predetermined temperature the intumescent material expands to close the circuitous passages.

摘要： A shutter attaches over a window opening without reliance on a traditional window frame for mounting or support. Rather, the shutter panel utilizes concealable hinges to fixedly attach the shutter panel directly to a window casement. This so-called “frameless” shutter has a shutter panel with stiles and spreaders that accommodate rotatable louvers that open and close the shutter panel to light. Each concealable hinges has a shutter mount and a window mount that removably attach together so as to removable mount the shutter panel over the window opening. A window frame may be attached to the wall around the shutter panel for decorative purposes.

摘要： A rotating shaft of louver blades for shutter assembly interconnected between a louver blade and a frame is provided, which includes a bushing and a shaft. A body of the bushing has a through hole and a plurality of slots, such that the body can be deformed flexibly. A front section of the shaft is fitted with the through hole. After the bushing is combined with the frame, the fixing hole is relatively small, which forces the end of the bushing having the slots to be compressed inwards, and after the front section passes through the bushing, the flexibly-deformed portion is expanded outwards, such that the bushing can be engaged with the frame. Moreover, the flexibly-deformed portion of the bushing generates a clipping force to the front section, such that the shaft and bushing are tightly fitted with each other, thereby making the louver blade be easily rotated and positioned.

摘要： A Bahama-style storm shutter design with improved impact resistance includes shutter blades which span the width of the shutter, supported at each end by an end cap locked within side rails and supported in the middle by a center mullion having slots machined to approximately matching the blade cross section. The storm shutter design eliminates the need for extra structure to attach shutter blades to the side rails, thereby eliminating cost and fabrication complexity. 摘要： The present invention is a pair of sliding louvered doors consisting of first and second louvered doors. Each of the louvered doors has a frame consisting of a pair of vertical stiles, each stile having a front face and a rear face and a plurality of louvers mounted between the stiles. The doors are mounted to an elongated head member having two parallel support tracks, each louvered door being suspended on a different track such that the first louvered door is mounted parallel to and in front of the second louvered door. The two louvered doors are separated from each other by a distance such that the rear face of the stiles of the first door faces the front face of the stiles of the second door. The louvers of the first door are mounted to the stiles of the first door such that a portion of the louvers extend beyond the front face of the stiles and the louvers do not extend substantially beyond the rear face of the stiles. Finally, the louvers of the second door are mounted to the stiles of the second door such that a portion of the louvers extend beyond the rear face of the stiles and the louvers do not extend substantially beyond the front face of the stiles of the second door.
