Abstract:
Room dividers are provided having an edge at least four feet from a room floor and at least twenty inches from a ceiling, an open or perforated space above and adjacent the edge along at least a majority portion of the room divider, and a moveable shield configured such that fluid from one side of the room divider is substantially blocked from passing through the open/perforated space when the shield is aligned with the space. Curtains are provided which include fastener/s arranged along a screen and strut/s coupled to the fastener/s, wherein the screen extends at least 3 inches above the fastener/s and the strut/s extend at least 24 inches below the fastener/s. Other curtains include struts extending along less than an entire length of the screen but at least between a point approximately level with at least one of the fastener/s to at least 24 inches below the fastener/s.
Abstract:
Curtains are provided which have fastener/s and, in some cases, strut/s arranged along a screen. The strut/s extend to elevation/s below and/or above the fastener/s. An upper strut may have a lower degree of stiffness than a lower strut. In some cases, the fastener/s are arranged at least 20 inches from the screen's upper edge. Systems are described which include a disinfection apparatus and any of such curtains. Other systems include any of such curtains attached to an edge of a room divider. Easily assembled and disassembled room dividers are described which include cord/s and/or pole/s, installed or portable device/s for supporting the cords/poles, and fasteners for attaching a curtain to the cords/poles. A disinfection apparatus is described which includes a shield extending to an elevation at least two feet above a germicidal light source and borders at least one third of a continuous region surrounding the germicidal light source.
Abstract:
A privacy curtain assembly includes a main curtain portion. The main curtain portion includes a first side, a second side, and oppositely disposed leading edges located between the first and second sides. The privacy curtain assembly also includes at least one cleanable, wipable panel that is permanently affixed to one of the leading edges of the main curtain portion. The at least one panel is configured to be cleaned while permanently affixed to the main curtain portion.
Abstract:
A curtain system may include a track system configured to be mounted to an interior structure of a vehicle. The track system may include three or more track sections oriented in at least two different directions. Each track section may be configured to support at least one curtain suspended from and slidable along the track sections. The track system may include at least one junction fitting interconnecting three or more track sections and allowing movement of a curtain from one of the three or more track sections to either one of two or more other track sections of the three or more track sections. In this regard, the junction fitting and the track sections may define different curtain paths for the curtain.

Abstract:
A curtain is suitable for use in a hospital or patient facilities or in surgical settings. The curtain includes a bottom panel removably attached and suspended from a top panel. The top panel may be suspended from a rail by suspension means such as hooks or rings. The top panel may be a mesh so as to allow air, light, and/or water to pass through. The bottom panel may be opaque to provide privacy. The bottom panel may be single-use or disposable, or may be reusable. The top and bottom panels are joined by a zipper to allow for removal of the bottom panel for washing or replacement. The zipper track has curved portions to allow for easier access to begin the zipping and unzipping process. The curved portions orient the zipper out of the plane of the curtain to allow for easier movement of zipper through the curved portions.
Abstract:
A number of mounting systems are provided for mounting a sheet element with respect to a rail element. In one example, the mounting system includes an elongate mounting tape having a first longitudinal edge portion and a second longitudinal edge portion spaced by a width spacing from the first longitudinal edge portion. The first longitudinal edge portion is configured for being affixed to the sheet element. The second longitudinal edge portion includes a plurality of rail-engaging elements in spaced relationship along the second longitudinal edge portion, the rail-engaging elements being configured for engaging with the rail element and for enabling selective longitudinal movement between the mounting tape and the rail element. The mounting tape is elastically deformable in a width direction, at least when the mounting tape is affixed to the flexible sheet.
Abstract:
A curtain liner attachment system that includes a curtain and a liner. The curtain includes a mounting portion for engagement with a mounting structure, and a coupling portion that includes one or more fasteners. The liner also includes a coupling portion including one or more fasteners that are configured for engagement with the fasteners of the curtain.
