摘要: An elevator cover assembly having a cover pad and a trim with openings for receiving a hanging knob inside the elevator is disclosed. The trim is a separate piece attached to the elevator cover after openings are made in the trim. The trim slits formed therein are sized and positioned to receive hanging knobs. The trim is made of a flexible material that can be deformed to broaden the openings to more easily position the openings over the knobs. A hanging knob can be a stud device attached to any wall for hanging a wall cover. The stud device comprises a mount attached to a wall, and a knob extending from the mount and extending outwardly from the wall. The knob is configured to receive an opening of the wall cover to hang the wall cover. A variety of such stud devices is provided.

摘要: An acoustical wall covering assembly (10) with pleats (11) formed and attached in situ to a trim member for covering a wall of a movie theatre, in which a panel (22) of an acoustical wall covering attaches to a pleating member (22) having groups (20) of scores (32, 34, 36, 38) for folding to define the pleats (11). An end of the pleated assembly (10) attaches to a ceiling trim (16). Each pleat (11) is formed and attached in situ to the ceiling trim. Subsequently, each pleat in the attached panel is pulled longitudinally away from the ceiling trim (16) to form an extended pleat in the panel and then secured to a bottom trim (18) to cover a portion of the wall with the pleated assembly. A method of forming and securing an acoustical pleated panel in situ to cover a wall is disclosed.

摘要: A method of outlining a swag body on fabric includes overlaying a first unadjustable template sheet formed of durable plastic over fabric and partially outlining top and bottom portions of the swag body on the fabric, removing the first template, and then overlaying a second unadjustable template sheet formed from durable plastic over the fabric and further outlining a side portion of the swag body. The first template includes top demarcation lines for outlining the top portion of traditional swag bodies and cut-out demarcation lines for outlining the top portion of cut-out swag bodies. The first template further includes corner demarcation lines for outlining an upper corner side portion of traditional swag bodies. Each demarcation line corresponds to a particular swag drop and demarcation lines include apertures corresponding to swag widths. The first template can thereby accommodate the formation of swag bodies having various swag dimensions of swag drop and swag width as well as various swag styles. The second template includes indicia for orienting the template with respect to the outline made with the first template and for further outlining a side portion of the swag body and also can be used with swag bodies of various swag drops and swag widths. The second template includes an angular side edge for outlining triangular portions defining the side edge of the swag body which are later folded to form pleats, and is dimensioned to form a predetermined number of triangular portions for the formation of a predetermined number of pleats.

摘要: An image bearing composite optical material is formed as a laminated flexible sheet having an image bearing photographic quality film layer variously bonded between outer and inner translucent layers of paper, fabric, or synthetic materials. The composite optical material provides two sharply distinct appearances dependent upon being viewed under backlit or ambient illumination conditions. Full-colored and precisely detailed images are produced under backlighted conditions; a plain appearance is produced otherwise. Improved embodiments include a nonbilateral structure wherein a middle image bearing film layer is bonded over its entire adjacent surface with an outer translucent layer, and is bonded at widely separated points or along thin lines with an inner translucent layer to produce an air gap there between. The air gap embodiment negates image transmission under nonbacklit viewing conditions.
