摘要： A rail tie plate suitable for attachment to a wood tie has a pair of upstanding abutment members to accommodate a rail flange, each having an upwardly facing lower ramp surface inclining from a laterally outer side of the abutment member upwardly inwardly to a laterally inner side to facilitate insertion of a rail clip. The tie plate tapers in thickness and has an upper side canted with respect to the lower side. The lower side is provided with wedge shaped projections that tapers laterally in the same direction as the plate and have an end face making an angle no greater than 90° with respect to the lower side.

摘要： A unitary clamp adapted to fit in a part circular opening defined by two arcuate arms having a gap between their opposing ends that are formed on a vertical upstanding wall of a clamp plate having a base for resting on a sleeper in which the base of the clamp plate is to carry a rail that is parallel to the clamp plate upstanding wall and the clamp is to fit in the part circular opening and engage both the clamp plate and the rail. The clamp has a unitary member of two generally C shaped sections each having upper and lower curved arms joined by a central member, and a cross-connecting piece at the end of the central member at one of said upper and lower arms of each of the two sections to place the sections spaced apart and generally parallel to each other. The cross-connecting piece has a curved shape conforming to that of the part circular opening to engage the interior of the two arcuate arms of the clamp plate upstanding wall part circular opening, with one of the arms of the two clamp sections resting on the clamp plate base and the other arm of the clamp sections to rest on the rail.

摘要： A one-piece single- or double-shank spring clip, which is used for elastic rail mounting for positively and elastically anchoring a rail relative to a tie plate without using any screws, said tie plate including fastening holes and the spring clip being adapted to be brought into engagement with said fastening holes in the area of its shank, consists of a bent steel rod, which is provided with one or with two spring loop(s) holding down the rail foot. The spring clip has one or two shanks, which are followed by one or two spring loops for holding down the rail foot, the shank being defined by a steel rod member bent by 180.degree. and having, at its lower end in the area of the 180.degree.-bend, one or several projection(s) adapted to engage the tie plate underside, which faces away from the rail, in the area of the fastening hole (FIG. 2).

摘要： An adjustable rail brace assembly for buttressing the head of a rail includes a rail brace having surfaces for engaging the head and the base of the rail and a vertically extending wedging face, a cover plate for retaining the brace having a vertical wedging face which compliments the brace wedging face, and an interlock for interlocking the brace wedging face and the cover plate wedging face such that the brace and the cover plate can move relative to each other in a vertical plane, but are restrained from moving relative to each other in a horizontal plane, and an elastic fastener for engaging the cover plate to prevent vertical movement of the cover plate.

摘要： An upper rail supporting plate is interconnected by resilient material to a lower foundation plate for lateral and vertical movement. Lateral movement of the upper plate transverse to the rail direction is limited by reinforced upstanding flanges upon a first pair of edges of the lower plate. The reinforcement includes horizontal flanges projecting outwardly from the upper edges of the upstanding flanges. Additional flanges upon a second pair of lower plate edges contribute further reinforcement, and limit upper plate movement in the rail direction. Toothed washers mount the lower plate for lateral adjustive movement in preselected increments of differing magnitudes.

摘要： A rail fastener assembly includes a rail seat laterally shiftable incrementally to properly position a supported rail. Anchoring of the seat to an underlying foundation is achieved by a clamp ring surrounding the periphery of the seat and including a plurality of fastener-receiving openings having their centers variably spaced from the seat. Rotation of the clamp ring presents at least two fastener-receiving openings in overlying registry with hold-down elements in the foundation to enable the application of fasteners through the clamp ring to secure the seat to the foundation. A pair of symmetrical spring clips engage shoulders on the seat and include a medial hold-down portion biased against the rail flanges and fixed, distal shoulder engaging portions overlying each rail flange but normally spaced thereabove to limit deflection of the clips during vertical movement of the rail.

摘要： A boltless, friction-fit adjustable brace for bracing rails on a tie plate wherein a plurality of friction surfaces of a removable side brace engage corresponding surfaces on a rail. The brace is provided with a serrated portion on its side for engagement with a serrated washer, which washer has a pair of ear lugs which span and contact a mounting plate on the tie plate. Finally, a resilient spring clip is applied thereto to engage the serrated washer, to prevent longitudinal, lateral and elevational movement of the side brace, when the rails are under load.

摘要： To hold a railway rail down on a support member, a device is employed having a first part driven into a vertical hole in the support member, a second part having a sideways projection, part of which lies vertically below a part of the support member, to one side of the bottom of the hole, and third, fourth and fifth parts forming an arch above the support member. A fulcrum portion of the first part co-operates with the wall of the hole during the driving operation to form a pivot about which said device rocks to cause the above-mentioned part of the projection to come under the above-mentioned part of the support member. From the lower extremity of the fifth part, i.e. the side of the arch which is further from the first part of the device, there extend sixth and seventh parts of the device, the sixth part sideways and the seventh part downwardly. A portion of a clip is driven under the arch and presses upwardly on it, another portion of the clip bears downwardly on the flange of the rail and a third portion bears downwardly on the sixth part of said device.

摘要： A rail fastener includes a rail plate, a pad of elastomeric material between the plate and a support structure, and a pair of posts for laterally and longitudinally restraining the rail plate with an insulator bushing mounted between the posts and cooperating peripheral surfaces of the openings in the rail plate. Each of these posts is preferably formed of two parts, one of which is embedded in the support structure, and the other of which is an eccentric which is releaseably attached thereto. Rotation of the eccentrics provides lateral and longitudinal adjustment of the rail plate with respect to the support structures, thereby providing lateral adjustment of the rail with respect to the support structure.
