According to one aspect, a media base security device can include a lock rod mechanism coupled to a portion of a media base housing including a security lock aperture operable to receive a security lock. The media base security device can also include a release lever accessible external to the housing. The release lever can be operable to release the media base housing when coupled to a portable computer system. The release lever can include a lock rod seat operable to engage a lock rod extending from the lock rod mechanism in response to locking the security lock.

摘要： A device for securing a laptop computer to a support panel comprises a pair of security devices each including a vertical member having a pair of prongs extending laterally outwardly therefrom. The laptop computer is securable with the security devices when the laptop computer is in the open position. The security devices are configured to be mountable to the support panel at a spacing greater than the laptop width. Each of the security devices include the prongs which are located above the lower surface of the vertical member at a height greater than a height of the keyboard and which are spaced apart from one another at a distance greater than a thickness of the display monitor. The pairs of prongs extending from respective ones of the vertical members are oriented in facing relationship to one another in order to secure the laptop computer to the support panel.

摘要： A retainer and stand system for a laptop computer of the type having a keyboard portion and a display portion that is pivotally coupled to the keyboard portion, the retainer and stand adapted to be mounted to a mobile cart and releasably but securely retaining the laptop such that the display portion is visible to a user of the mobile cart. The retainer and stand has a five-sided receptacle defining a bottom portion, a front portion coupled to the bottom portion, a rear portion coupled to the bottom portion and spaced from the front portion, and spaced left and right side portions coupled to both the front and rear portions, the receptacle thereby defining an open-top cavity of sufficient size to hold at least most of the keyboard portion of the laptop within the cavity with the display portion projecting above the cavity, in which the receptacle is adapted to be mounted to a mobile cart to thereby make the laptop display visible to a user of the cart, and a cable coupled to the receptacle and adapted to be releasably coupled to the laptop, to secure the laptop to the receptacle.

The back cover further comprises a panel that conceals the appliance mounting hardware, and a lower securing element that attaches to the platform. The platform in the present invention comprises a lower housing that is used as a locking mechanism for rotationally securing the apparatus. The platform also comprises an upper housing that uses a plurality of fasteners to secure the mounting plate and back cover.

摘要： A portable electronic apparatus including a base, a screen and a withdrawer is provided. The screen is pivotally connected to the base and the withdrawer is adopted for assembling to the base. The withdrawer includes a case, a combination lock and a push rod. The case, on which the combination lock is disposed, has an opening for exposing a part of the combination lock. The push rod disposed on the case has a first and a second end, wherein the second end is connected with the combination lock. When the combination lock is locked, the first end of the push rod penetrates through the base so as to fix the relative position between the case and the base; and when the combination lock is unlocked, the first end of the push rod can be withdrawn back into the case to separate the case from the base.
