摘要: A selectively sealable evacuable storage bag comprises a first side comprising a flexible waterproof bag material having a first peripheral shape, a thickness, a first inner surface and a first outer surface; an opposed second side of the bag material comprising a mirror image of the first side in corresponding engagement with the first side; a waterproof weld joining the first side to the second side and defining an opening and a storage chamber extending between them, the opening configured to receive an article; a valve disposed on the first side or the second side, the valve disposed in a conduit attached to respective side and extending from a conduit opening to an outlet opening; and a selectively openable and closable seal disposed proximate the opening and providing a watertight, dust tight, and airtight seal in a closed condition, wherein in the closed condition the storage chamber is evacuable.

摘要: Systems, methods, and apparatus for an ejection port cover with a multifunctional pin. In one embodiment, a fixed pin and a spring-loaded pin both mate with hinge openings at ends of the ejection port. The spring-loaded pin can be longitudinally biased by a spring, such as a torsion spring. This same spring can perform biasing of the ejection port cover toward an open position as well as biasing of a flag extending from the spring-loaded pin into a locked position when the ejection port cover is not installed.

摘要: Various examples of a tool-free dust cover for firearms are described. The dust cover is a monolithic piece having a cover plate, a first connection portion, and a second connection portion, with at least one of the first connection portion and the second connection portion being elastically deformable to allow the dust cover to be pivotably coupled to a receiver portion of the firearm. The first connection portion is received in a cavity of a first hinge knuckle on the receiver portion next to a first long side of an ejection port of the receiver portion. The second connection portion is received in a cavity of a second hinge knuckle on the receiver portion next to the first long side of the ejection port. When in an open position, the cover plate uncovers the ejection port. When in a closed position, the cover plate covers the ejection port.

摘要: A delinking feeder of a minigun includes an access door mounted to a delinking feeder housing and movable between a closed position and an open position. The access door has an enclosed recess for receiving a tongue that is rotationally coupled to the access door and is movable between a retracted position and a deployed position. When the access door is in the open position, the tongue is in the deployed position and a tongue first contact surface can contact and secure a linked cartridge positioned in the delinking feeder. When the access door is in the closed position, the tongue is in the retracted position and a tongue second contact surface can contact and guide a cartridge positioned in the delinking feeder. The enclosed recess is covered so that when the access door is in the closed position, the tongue does not protrude through the access door.

摘要: Firearm covers are disclosed. A firearm cover includes a body defining a partially enclosed region sized and shaped to receive a firearm receiver of a firearm. The body includes a first side wall having a first lip and a second side wall opposite the first side wall and having a second lip. The first lip and the second lip define a longitudinal opening to the partially enclosed region. The first side wall and the second side wall define a forward opening to the partially enclosed region and a rear opening to the partially enclosed region such that, when the firearm receiver is operatively received in the partially enclosed region, the firearm extends through the forward opening and the rear opening. The firearm cover further includes structure for restricting the firearm from being fired when the firearm receiver is operatively received in the partially enclosed region.

摘要: Firearms with improved systems and methods of controlling which side of the firearm shell casings are ejected from, with ejection port covers on both sides of the firearm that open to provide cross ventilation, or both. In some embodiments, the bolt can be installed in one of two different orientations to select whether shell casings are ejected from the left or the right ejection port without a need to replace any parts. In a number of embodiments, spring loaded ejection port covers on both sides open when the firearm is fired or when the bolt or carrier of the firearm moves to provide cross ventilation through a passageway through the firearm to cool the firearm. The covers can be manually closed by the operator when the weapon is not being fired to keep dirt and debris out of the firearm.
