摘要： An improved door assembly for a delinking feeder of a minigun includes an access door mounted to a delinking feeder housing and movable between a closed position and an open position. The access door has an enclosed recess for receiving a tongue that is rotationally coupled to the access door and is movable between a retracted position and a deployed position. When the access door is in the open position, the tongue is in the deployed position and a tongue first contact surface can contact and secure a linked cartridge positioned in the delinking feeder. When the access door is in the closed position, the tongue is in the retracted position and a tongue second contact surface can contact and guide a cartridge positioned in the delinking feeder.

摘要： The multiple shot spear gun includes a central rotary shaft having a plurality of relatively stationary spear launching tubes or barrels distributed therearound in a cylindrical pattern. The number of spear launching tubes or barrels is not limited, but may comprise any practicable number. Rotation of the central shaft causes a disc to rotate. The disc has a ramp or tang thereon that sequentially engages the trigger of each of the spear launchers as the disc is rotated. A safety disc is rotated with rotation of the central shaft. The safety disc includes a plurality of holes therein. A spring-loaded catch engages one of the holes as the disc rotates with rotation of the central shaft. Thus, the operator of the multiple shot spear gun must release the safety catch after each shot to rotate the central shaft further for the next shot.

摘要： A top cover and safing blade assembly replaces the prior art top cover and safing sector in 7.62 miniguns. The top cover and aft camming portion of a longitudinal helical track are combined in a single unit, thus permitting the forward camming portion of the helical track, incorporated in the safing blade, to be removed separately. Safing the gun by opening the safing blade and rearming it by closing the safing blade can be accomplished in far less time than is required in prior art safing systems. Live cartridges can be quickly cleared from the minigun by electrically rotating the barrels after the safing blade has been locked in its open position.

摘要： In weapons in the nature of a Gatling gun the danger exists with an ignition delay or hangfire that the cartridge still is ignited after the positively reciprocated breechblock has been unlocked. However, cartridge ignition is undesired after unlocking of the breechblock. Therefore, an apparatus is present with the invention preventing unlocking of the breechblock in case of an ignition delay. Such safety apparatus may respond to (a) the gas pressure, (b) the weapon recoil, (c) the forward advance of the weapon or (d) to an expansion or bulge formed in a cartridge case, and acts to separate a breechblock head from a breechblock carrier, the breechblock head remaining in its locked position.The apparatus comprises either an inertia mass displaced relative to the breechblock due to the recoil action or a cam plate mounted at the weapon cradle and responding to the forward advance of the weapon, or a feeler pin responsive to an expansion or bulge formed in the cartridge case. The apparatus may cause a deflection of a cam follower roll from a first control cam into a second control cam, whereby the breechblock remains in its locked position.
