Abstract: A holder for displaying a CD or DVD case (10) has a bowed configuration with regions (4) sloping up to a central, flat region (5) between a pair of opposed, hooked lugs (2). The back-face (11) of the case (10) rests on the region (5) between upturned lips (6) and the lugs (2) bear resiliently on opposite edges (13,14) of the case (10) to retain it firmly. Abstract: A caddy for holding a stack of compact disk cases comprises a plurality of trays each shaped and dimensioned to hold a single compact disk case. Each tray is rotatably and slidingly connected to a pair of vertical jambs associated with a case, cabinet or other similar enclosure. The upper front edge of each tray is arcuately and concavely cut to allow viewing of the label-carrying side of the case. The front bottom part of the tray includes a window for viewing a section of the case bottom. Each tray can be flipped upwardly after having translated the entire stack of trays immediately above it along grooves in the supporting jambs.

Abstract: A compact disc organizing kit apparatus includes a compact disc case having means for attaching a compact disc therein and being labeled as a compact disc organizing kit. Abstract: A high capacity motorized rack holds a plurality of jewel case enclosed CDs in holders flexibly inter-connectable with each other to form a rotatable continuous loop. The loop is rotatably retained within a vertical rack housing and is driven by a motor, disposed within the housing, under user control such that the loop is rotated until a desired CD is moved to the top region of the belt. A rack may hold two or more such loops of inter-connected holders. In one embodiment a holder retains a single jewel case, and comprises two independent loops that are rotated with a single motor. A preferred embodiment employs inter-connectable holders that each retain two jewel cases in a side-by-side configuration. A lamp and/or barcode scanner may be disposed on the housing for ease of CD selection. The housing base preferably is detached during shipping to permit transporting the rack in a smaller volume container. User control can include voice commands to direct loop rotation and speed.
