Abstract:
An image sensing apparatus has an image sensing unit and a display unit. The image sensing unit has an optical system for photographing an object and an image sensing element. The display unit has a liquid crystal display device for performing an image display on the basis of a video output from the image sensing unit. A film fixing unit holds the image sensing unit and the display unit at a predetermined distance and also forms a mounting unit for mounting the object on the display surface of the display unit. A film holder for holding a film as an object is mounted on the mounting unit, and a film photographing operation is performed by the image sensing unit while using the display unit as an illumination device.
Abstract:
The light source unit (lid), which is substantially a right triangle, is supported to be freely rotatable via the hinge at the bottom of the main body casing. The light source for illumination and the assist roller are arranged in the light source unit. When operating the scanner system, the scanning window is opened by rotating the light source unit. When not operating, the scanning window is closed by rotating the light source unit to the right bottom of the main body casing, and the scanning face is protected. Moreover, the magnets are used to lock and hold the light source unit in the opening state or the closing state. The main power source is turned on when the opening state of the lid is detected by the Hall sensor or the reed switch, and the scanner system becomes operatable.
Abstract:
A folding mechanism portion for folding leg portions (8, 11) along a support portion (5) of an image input apparatus (1) is provided in a base portion (7). This mechanism is constituted by two legs which extend from the base portion substantially in the shape of "L" within a horizontal plane when used, and can be folded to become parallel to the support portion (5) when not used. A pan base (2) on the upper end of the support portion (5) has an electrical connector and can be detached.
Abstract:
To transfer an image signal from a electronic camera head to a personal computer, a PC card provides the interface between the camera head and the personal computer. The PC card is removably attached to the personal computer. As instructed by the personal computer, the PC card operates the camera head, sets its states, writes image data into a memory, reads the image data from the memory for transmission to the personal computer, generates control signals for a light refracting member, and informs the personal computer of the state of the camera head.
Abstract:
A scanner which can be used in both sheet feed and self move modes including a scanner body and a cover. The scanner body has an entry slot at a top side of a lateral wall thereof, and an elongated roller driven by a motor and connected via circuit means to a control panel. The control panel is connected via circuit means to a sensor at one end and is connected to a connector at the other end for connection with a computer. The scanner body further has an exit slot at a top side of a lateral wall opposite to the entry slot. The cover is a plate connected via connecting means to the top side of the scanner body and can be turned open through 270.degree.. When the cover is put on the scanner body, the scanner is in a sheet feed mode. But when the cover is turned over through 270.degree. and the scanner body inverted, the scanner is in a self move mode.
Abstract:
A portable image input equipment for sending a video signal of an object to a monitor television comprising a document stage on which an object is to be put, a U-shaped support member which consists of a pair of arms and a base frame with the arms and the base frame defining a generally rectangular shape and the U-shaped support member is pivotally mounted on the document stage so as to be movable between a folding position where the U-shaped support member is folded down to the document stage and a standing position where the U-shaped support member is raised from the document stage, a camera head pivotally mounted on the arms so as to be movable between a folding position where the camera head is folded down into the space to be flush with the support member and a standing position where the camera head is raised from the space, an illuminator pivotally mounted on the U-shaped support member so as to be movable between a folding position where the illuminator is folded down into the space to be flush with the support member and a standing position where the illuminator is raised from the space, and a locking mechanism for locking the support member in the folded and standing positions.
Abstract:
In a handy reader/printer apparatus for reading recorded information from a desired portion of a medium to be read and printing read information on a desired portion of a medium to be printed, the apparatus has a housing having an opening in a lower surface thereof and placed on the medium to be read or printed such that the desired portion of the medium can be fitted in the opening, a reader unit, arranged in the housing, for reading the recorded information of the desired portion of the medium to be read fitted in the opening while the housing is placed on the medium, a printer unit, arranged in the housing, for printing data in the desired portion of the medium to be printed fitted in the opening while the housing is placed on the medium, a memory for storing data read by the reader unit upon operation of the reader unit, and a readout unit for reading out the storage data from the memory as the printing data to the printer unit upon operation of the printer unit.
