摘要： A food processor includes a control unit that is operable in accordance with an initial control signal from a switch unit so as to activate a motor unit to operate in a sequence of an initial judgment mode and a food processing mode. The control unit switches operation of the motor unit from the initial judgment mode to the food processing mode upon determining a first target rotary speed in accordance with a motor rotation signal generated by a sensor unit for indicating a rotary speed of the motor unit during operation of the motor unit in the initial judgment mode so as to drive rotation of a cutting blade unit provided in a container to process food items contained in the container. The control unit activates the motor unit to rotate at a second target rotary speed associated with the first target rotary speed during operation of the motor unit in the food processing mode.

摘要： This specification discloses a variable protection board that can change the width of the opening of a paper shredder. A sliding block is disposed on one side of the paper shredder opening to change the relative position between the sliding block and the opening. When the shredder is operating, the opening width thereof can be changed to a narrower default state, preventing the user from putting fingers into it and getting hurt. To back the paper out, the opening width of the shredder is changed to a wider default state for the user to take out the paper. A switch can be disposed along the stroke of the sliding block. When the sliding block goes to the state with a wider opening width for backing out paper, the shredder is powered off at the same time to shut down the running motor and thus protect the safety of the user.

The shredder includes a housing having a throat for receiving at least one article to be shredded, and a shredder mechanism received in the housing and including an electrically powered motor and cutter elements. The shredder mechanism enables the at least one article to be shredded to be fed into the cutter elements. The motor is operable to drive the cutter elements so that the cutter elements shred the articles fed therein. The shredder also includes a detector that is configured to detect a thickness of the at least one article being received by the throat, and a controller that is operable to perform a predetermined operation responsive to the detector detecting that the thickness of the at least one article is at least equal to a predetermined maximum thickness.

摘要： A safety device that can close the paper passage of a shredder has a touch board pivoted in the vicinity of the shredder opening. When the board is under a pressure produced by fingers touching the opening, it is rotated about its pivotal axis. Its rotation drives a transmission mechanism and a closing element to close the opening. Therefore, the fingers cannot go into the opening and get hurt. Once the pressure on the touch board disappears, a restoring element pushes the touch board back to its normal position and brings the closing element away from the closing position. The opening is thus open again.

摘要： A shredder including a shredder housing having an inside, an outside, side walls, end walls, such that the end walls and side walls are engineered and joined together to maintain tight tolerance within the shredder. The end walls and side walls define a top inlet opening and a bottom outlet opening. Two parallel spaced apart shafts are horizontally aligned with each other and rotationally mounted through the end walls for receiving rotational power. Adjustable speed rotational motors engage each of the shafts for rotating them in counter-rotational directions. A plurality of uniform thickness disk-shaped blades are alternatingly positioned with interposed disk-shaped spacers placed therebetween. The spacers have a thickness slightly thicker than the blades. The blades and spacers are arranged on the shafts and mounted for counter-rotation with the shafts in an interdigitated fashion so that the blades on one of the shafts are aligned with the spacers on the other shaft such that the blades pass side-by-side closely spaced with the blades on the counter-rotating shafts so that close tolerance cutting occurs between the blades.

摘要： A multiple-roll roller mill, useful in particular for livestock feed processing, is disclosed. The mill includes a main roller and at least two secondary rollers, each secondary roller opposing a different axial portion of the main roller circumference and thereby defining axially separate mill sections. Each secondary roller is independently adjustable towards and away from the main roller. A chain and sprocket arrangement gangs the adjustment means for opposite ends of each secondary roller to ensure that the rollers remain parallel when adjusted. Pressure springs urge the secondary rollers toward their adjusted positions, but allow movement away from the main roller when the spring pressure is overcome. A chain drive is employed which includes moveable idler sprockets arranged so as to maintain relatively constant chain tension when the roller positions are adjusted.
