    摘要: An apparatus for transferring a relatively flat object from a first station to a second station includes a support for the object at the first station, a substantially closed housing, and a piston disposed therein for sliding movement from a normal position to an activated position. An actuator extends through the housing and is integrally formed with the piston for sliding movement thereby. Compressed air is selectively directed into the housing for movement of the piston to the activated position, whereby the actuator strikes a blow edgewise of the object for propelling it toward the second station along a predetermined path. A pair of fingers disposed at the second station define therebetween a portion of the path along which an incoming object enters the second station. Each finger includes a path wall having an end surface extending generally inwardly from the finger for blocking the object path for halting object movement. A spring pawl extending partially into the path from each finger prevents rebounding of the object from the end surfaces.

    摘要: An apparatus for unloading a workpiece from a pressing machine includes a power cylinder mounted on the pressing machine and having a horizontally movable piston rod. An operating rod is mounted on the pressing machine in parallel relation to the piston rod and is horizontally movable. The stroke of the operating rod is shorter than the stroke of the piston rod. A linkage assembly is attached to the forward ends of the piston rod and operating rod so that the operating rod is moved horizontally together with the piston rod during its stroke. The linkage assembly has a forward end which is vertically moved toward and away from a die of the press upon the horizontal movement of the piston rod relative to the operating rod at a final portion of the extending stroke thereof and at an initial portion of the retracting stroke thereof. A plurality of suction cups are connected to the forward end of the linkage assembly. The suction cups are operable to hold a workpiece on the die when the forward end of the linkage assembly is moved vertically toward the die.

    摘要: A work feed method and apparatus for feeding workpieces to and from the die of a press comprises a feed rack having a workpiece clamping device thereon is disposed within the press gap and reciprocates horizontally between positions where it picks up pieces from a supply stage at the die and transfers them simultaneously to the die and discharge stages. The feed bar is operated by a drive unit driven by an electric motor and having a rocking arm mechanism connected to the feed bar to reciprocate the latter horizontally and a slide mechanism at each end of the feed bar to reciprocate the feed bar vertically which is operated by a camming mechanism through a ball crank device which is operated by a lift rod driven through a camming mechanism by the drive motor.
