摘要: A tool unit of a rotary swaging machine (1) has a tool space (9) in which there are provided a plurality of shaping swaging tools for processing a workpiece (5) which can be introduced into the tool space (9), and a front cover (13) by means of which the tool space (9) can be at least partially covered at a tool space side (14). The front cover (13), in order to change shaping swaging tools, can be moved into at least one position in which the front cover (13) releases the tool space (9) for removal or insertion of shaping swaging tools at the tool space side (14). Ease of handling when tools are changed is achieved by there being provided a front cover locking mechanism (20) which is provided with an actuation device (26) and by means of which the front cover (13) can be locked in a position in which the front cover (13) at least partially covers the tool space (9) at the tool space side (14).

摘要: The invention relates to a method for operating a shaping machine (1) having a tool (2), in particular a shaping machine having a shaping tool, in which the workpiece is handled by means of a handling device (3) during the manufacturing process. To improve the production process, the invention provides that before machining of workpieces on the shaping machine (1), the position and/or orientation of the tool (2) is/are determined by approaching at least one reference surface (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) on the tool (2) with a handling device (3) equipped with at least one sensor (4, 4′), transmitting the determined positions of the reference surfaces (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) to an evaluating means (11), and determining in the evaluating means (11) the position and orientation of the tool (2). The invention further relates to a shaping machine.

摘要: An automatic feeding machine for transferring semi-manufactured products (40) between a progressive die (10) and a single station die (30), includes a frame (22), a feeding device (20), and a manipulator (50). The feeding device is positioned on the frame, which includes a curved slide (24), an active conveyor (27), a passive conveyor (25), and a locating table (23). The semi-manufactured products are transported on the active conveyor, the passive conveyor and the locating table in turn. Thereafter the semi-manufactured products are fetched by the manipulator. When the passive conveyor is fully occupied with semi-manufactured products, the active conveyor pivots to a position in alignment with the curved slide, so that unneeded semi-manufactured products slide out along the curved slide.

摘要: A method of operating a forging press having a plurality of tool stages between which workpieces are advanced in succession. Each tool has two identical dies with a center-to-center spacing of half the stroke of a transporter for advancing the workpieces from stage to stage so that in each stage during each forging stroke of the press only one die is in contact with the workpiece while the other die is unused and in the next working stroke, the unused die engages the workpiece and the previously used die is unused. The result is a minimization of the contact time of workpieces with any given die and hence an increase in the life of the dies for a given press output or enhanced output of the press with equal or reduced die wear.

摘要: When an impact load is applied to a workpiece which is held by the robot, the impact force can be absorbed. The robot includes a grip 3 for holding a workpiece to which an impact load is applied and a buffer mechanism disposed between the grip 3 and a robot arm 2. The buffer mechanism 4 includes two parallel link mechanisms 5, 6 for enabling the grip 3 to be moved in various directions and hydraulic actuator mechanisms 7, 8 for relaxing the actuation of the parallel link mechanisms 5, 6. When an impact force is applied to the grip 3, two parallel link mechanisms 5, 6 are actuated so that the grip 3 is slightly displaced while the hydraulic actuator mechanisms 5, 6 relax the actuation of the parallel link mechanisms 7, 8. Therefore, the impact force which is applied to the grip 3 can be absorbed. Additionally, after the impact force is applied to the grip 3, the buffer mechanism 4 can immediately be returned automatically to the initial position.
