Abstract: An apparatus for the rapid cooling of packaged beverages that includes a thermally insulated immersion tank capable of containing a liquid refrigerant and an evaporator coil placed within the tank, where the container will be submerged while held by gripping means connected to a vertical rotation axis mounted on a vertically movable cart, both driven by driving means under the control of a control unit that commands a series of sequential steps such as driving the rotation of said axial rotation axis within a predetermined speed range and period of time followed by slowing down of the rotation of said axial rotation axis at a predetermined speed with a simultaneous vertical reciprocating movement of the container by means of the vertically movable cart for a predetermined period of time as many times as established by the control unit.

Abstract: The present invention provides a refrigerator, comprising a cabinet, a door and a hinge body. A guide block is provided on the door, a rotation shaft is provided on the hinge body, and rotation shaft grooves are provided on the guide block. With the structure of the hinge body, the gravity of the door and the friction force may be shared onto the first and second plate bodies of the hinge body, thereby reducing abrasion and prolonging the service life of the door of the refrigerator.

Vaccine refrigeration storage must maintain consistent temperatures between −58 degrees Fahrenheit and 5 degrees Fahrenheit. The invention utilizes temperature variation moderating heat reservoirs consisting of high specific or latent heat capacity materials to significantly reduce the cycle temperature variation while maintaining the ability to successfully defrost the freezer.

Abstract: A refrigerated food storage box has been disclosed. This refrigerated food storage box has an inner box comprising a set of inner walls and an inner base, together enclosing a food storage compartment. There is also an outer box comprising a set of outer walls and an outer base, wherein each outer wall is located at a predetermined distance from a corresponding inner wall and the outer base is located at the predetermined distance from the inner base, thereby creating a thermal cavity between the inner box and the outer box. There is at least one plate-type heat exchanger located within the thermal cavity, wherein each plate-type heat exchanger having a hollow cavity therein. Note that the hollow cavity capable of receiving temperature controlled air from a refrigeration unit, thereby capable of altering the temperature inside the food storage compartment.

Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency of solidification and melting of a heat storage material in a heat storage material unit, a heat storage material covered with a coating material is accommodated in a metal accommodating container having a high thermal conductivity, and the heat storage material unit is embedded in a thermal insulation panel in such a way that the accommodating container is exposed inside a merchandise accommodating compartment, thereby enabling a surface of the heat storage material that is embedded in the thermal insulation panel also to exhibit an action equivalent to that if the accommodating container is exposed in the merchandise accommodating compartment as a heat transfer element, thereby improving the efficiency of solidification (heat storage) and melting (heat dissipation) of the heat storage material.
