摘要： A lock collar is provided to maintain electrically conductive engagement between electrical terminals of a first group and electrical terminals of a second group wherein each of the terminals of the first group is supported relative to each other as contrasted to the terminals of the second group wherein each of the terminals relies for its support upon its connection to one of the terminals of the first group. The lock collar is adapted to be positioned about and supported by the terminals of the second group. The lock collar comprises a unitary plastic structure having first and second opposing portions adapted to extend respectively above and below the electrical terminals, an integral hinge means formed at one end thereof, and an integral locking means formed at the other end thereof.

摘要： The present device is a combination of elements and features an insert member made of electrically insulating material in which a plurality of electrical conductor elements are disposed. Each conductor protrudes from the insert and is available for connection to an associated wire of a multiwire shielded cable. A hollow housing member is included in the combination which is formed with internal protrusions relief One of the protrusions snaps into and interlocks with a groove formed in the insert member and the other protrusion comprises a key which meshes with a keyway in the insert member. The latter protrusion provides an alignment means for aligning the housing member with the insert element and conductor elements of the connector assembly when it is engaged with another connector assembly. In addition the housing member has an aperture therein which serves as a means to solder or metallically fuse the housing member to the shield of the cable so that the housing member becomes the strain relief element as well as the protecting and alignment element.

摘要： An electrical connector comprises two contact-bearing blocks connectable together, one of the blocks has at least one barbed resilient limb, the other at least one apertured lug. One limb and one lug each have a contact. Engagement of the limbs by the lug upon passage of the barb through the aperture brings these contacts into engagement. There contacts complete an electrical circuit for continuity testing to check the proper connection together of the blocks and thus afford a check on the circuits completed through the block contacts.

摘要： A system is disclosed which features precision alignment of receptacles having depending terminals thereon within headers adapted to receive integrated circuit components thereon. The individual header is made of a suitable insulating material and has a plurality of apertures therein, each of which has two intersecting surfaces precisely located relative to a master reference point. The receptacles have plural spring means thereon which bias the receptacle into the corner defined by the intersecting surfaces. The receptacles also have spring contact fingers at the end opposite the depending terminal for receiving posts or leads form an integrated circuit component. The header has located thereon plural latching features for positively retaining thereon an integrated circuit component.

摘要： An extension cord clamp assembly for detachably securing the ends of extension cords or cables together to prevent accidental disconnection of the plug and socket. The clamp assembly has a pair of spring-loaded, butterfly-type clamps which clamp on the cord ends, the clamps being mounted on a threaded, roughened or serrated rod to thereby hold them against relative displacement. The spring urges the clamps into tight and secure engagement with the rod, but permits ready adjustment along the rod when the butterfly wings of the clamps are squeezed together to release the jaws of the clamps.
