摘要: An arrangement for connecting an auxiliary electrical system associated with a subassembly to a main electrical system, wherein the subassembly is mounted on a structural element of a vehicle body along a main vertical mounting direction, and including an auxiliary electrical connection element borne by the subassembly and a main element borne by the structural element. The auxiliary element is fixed and borne by the subassembly, and the main element is mounted switching between an inoperative position whereto it is elastically returned and a connecting position whereto it is automatically moved by the subassembly. The arrangement is useful, e.g., for mounting a motor vehicle seat.

摘要: In a structure of wiring connection, plate-like first to fourth wirings are typically used. A connecting portion of the first wiring is connected to that of the third wiring, and a connecting portion of the second wiring is connected to that of the fourth wiring. Each main portion of the first wiring and the second wiring runs together in parallel to face each main face thereof to the other, and that of the third wiring and the fourth wiring runs together in the same manner. Each elbow portion of the first wiring to the fourth wiring is defined as a portion between the main portion and the connecting portion thereof. Between any one of the first wiring to the fourth wiring and one of the other wirings, a specific distance defined as a distance between gravity centers in sections of two corresponding wirings of the first wiring to the fourth wiring cut along a plane vertical to each main face of the two corresponding wirings is less than the predetermined plate width of each of the two corresponding wirings.

摘要: A plug-in connector comprising a plug and a plug socket with a shroud (1) serves to connect a cable containing a plurality of signal lines and current supply lines to a consumer, e.g. the electronic regulator of a vehicle control system. The inside of the plug-in connector is a water-tight housing in which the contacts of the plug engage the connecting contacts of the plug socket (2-6) when plug and plug socket are assembled. According to the present invention, intermediate walls (7,8) divide the interior of the housing into at least three spaces which are separated from each other in a liquid-tight manner. At least one of said spaces is provided for the signal line contacts (6) and at least one each is provided for current supply contacts having the same electrical potential (2,3; 4,5). The current supply contacts are arranged on the end faces of the plug-in connector in such a way that they are separated according to their electrical potential.

摘要: A lead-in accessory for a stacked smart card reader comprises a generally rectangular insulative housing having a front surface, a back surface and sidewalls therebetween. The housing defines, in a particular configuration, a pair of spaced, substantially parallel card insertion ingresses extending through the front surface and the back surface of the housing. A pair of opposing snap tabs project from the back surface of the housing for removable attachment of the accessory to the smart reader. The smart reader typically comprises a connector housing having at least two spaced card receiving slots for receipt therein of smart cards. Upon attachment of the accessory to the smart card reader, the pair of ingresses are substantially aligned with the receiving slots in the reader connector to thereby effectively extend outwardly the card receiving face of the smart reader.

摘要: The invention relates to a circuit package comprising a module and a socket which cooperate to provide quick and easy insertion of the module into the socket using a small insertion force, accurate alignment between the module and the socket after insertion, and coupling between a module coupling site and a socket coupling site after insertion. A socket guide feature allows an edge of the module to slide along the guide feature during insertion of the module into the socket, and a module alignment feature interlocks with a socket alignment feature after insertion of the module into the socket. In addition, after insertion of the module into the socket, a retaining feature restricts the motion of the module so that the module coupling site remains in contact with the socket coupling site.

摘要: A shroud for a rectangular PCB-mounted electronic connector fashioned from a single piece of metal surrounds the connector on three sides of the connector by way of three walls. The fourth side of the connector is also partially covered via flanges extending from the end walls of the shroud. The walls and flanges of the shroud extend higher than the connector, thus defining a channel that aligns a mating structure for the connector when the mating structure is being plugged into the connector.

摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide a general purpose connector with which development costs can be reduced and inventory can be easily controlled even when a plurality of terminal arrangements are required. In order to achieve this object, a general purpose connector according to the present invention includes: a connector housing-having a base including a terminal mounting portion; at least a pair of walls formed on the base; and a plurality of partitions being inserted into the connector housing, thereby forming a receiving space with the connector housing for receiving a mating connector, the receiving space being suitable for the terminal arrangement of the mating connector, wherein mis-insertion prevention groups are formed on the partitions to prevent either incorrect insertion as a result of receiving the wrong mating connector having the same terminal arrangement or reversed insertion as a result of receiving a corresponding mating connector in a reversed orientation.

摘要: A coding arrangement is connected between a pair of components that are to be laterally displaced into engagement with each other, thereby to assure that only authorized components may be connected with each other. The coding assembly includes a pair of matching coding elements one of which has at least one projection that carries a pair of angularly arranged coding surfaces which engage a corresponding pair of coding surfaces on the other coding element. According to the method of assembly provided by the invention, the coding elements are mounted on the ends of a synthetic plastic strap by tear strip means, and the strap is deformed to bring the coding elements together into coded engagement with each other, thereby to form a preassembled coding assembly. One coding element of this preassembled coding assembly is initially mounted on one of a pair of components, such as a terminal board to which an authorized printed circuit board or the like, which are to be physically mounted and electrically connected. The components are then brought together to cause the other matched coding element of the preassembled coding assembly to be connected with the other component. The mounting strap is then rotated relative to the coding elements, whereupon the tear strips are broken to separate the strap from the coding elements, which coding elements remain mounted on the components.
