    摘要: In a method to damp an oscillation of a roller driven via a drive in a printing system, a printing substrate web is directed across the roller, the roller and the printing substrate web forming a system capable of vibrating. With the drive the roller is driven with a predetermined nominal moment. With a sensor, a real value is determined of a variable representative of a velocity with which the printing substrate web is transported by the roller. In aid of a predetermined calculation rule, a correction moment is calculated from the determined real value such that a damping of the vibration-capable system results like a mechanical viscous damper. The correction moment is added to the predetermined nominal moment upon activation of the drive.

The cylindrical plate presents an innermost support surface opposite the outermost sleeve surface and operable to engage a mandrel. The cylindrical plate includes an intermediate carrier layer and an overlying engravable layer cladded to and supported by the carrier layer. The cylindrical plate further includes an underlying expansion layer cladded to the carrier layer. The expansion layer has a greater coefficient of thermal expansion than the carrier layer, with heating of at least the expansion layer causing diametrical expansion of the innermost support surface to facilitate mounting or removal of the cylindrical plate relative to the mandrel.

    摘要: A printing technology wherein an endless belt-shaped printing plate is wound about a plate cylinder and a guide roller of a printing cylinder and, by using the printing plate, a continuous form sent between the printing plate and an impression cylinder is printed. In the plate cylinder, feed pins are disposed in rows at an even pitch along an outer periphery of the cylinder. The feed pins are guided by a fixed cam ring and project and retract freely and project in a desired region of the plate cylinder, respectively with respect to the cylinder surface. Pin feed holes are provided in rows in marginal zones of the endless belt-shaped printing plate. The endless belt-shaped printing plate is formed by joining and bonding both ends of an elongated resinous relief printing plate with an adhesive tape from the printing surface side. The pin feed holes are engaged with the feed pins of the plate cylinder, whereby the plate feed is guided.

The adapter sleeve has an internal layer defining a bore enabling the sleeve to be mounted onto a rotary mandrel of a printing machine. Each opposite extreme end of the adapter sleeve includes a rigid, load-bearing, radial spacer member disposed between the layers to provide rigidity and indeformability during the use of the sleeve with time. The inner surface of each of the extreme end radial spacer members is defined by rigid and non-deformable material of very low coefficients of dynamic and static friction.
