Abstract:
Methods, apparatuses and products are provided for establishing and verifying the authenticity of data within one or more data files. In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, a method for verifying the authenticity of data involves providing at least one data file which includes an identifier and a signature file which includes the identifier for the data file as well as a digital signature. The digital signature is then verified using a computer system, and the identifier in the data file is compared with the identifier in the signature file using the computer system. In one embodiment, the identifier for the data file includes at least one certificate authority, site certificate, software publisher identifier, or a site name, and verifying the authenticity of data involves setting a security level for at least one of the certificate authority, the site certificate, the software publisher identifier, and the site name.

The emulsion is texturized, reheated and recirculated.

A transmission cable using optical fibre for conveying the information consists of fibres loosely laid in helical grooves of a core so that the fibre will undulate within the groove due to over-length given by pretwisting of the fibre and curvature of the groove flanks. Reduction of the contact surface between the fibre and the core improves the electrical characteristics and reduces the sensitivity of the cable to mechanical stress.

A process for preparing a sunflower seed protein isolate and a protein isolate which is obtainable by such process. The process comprises the following steps: mixing a defatted seed meal with an aqueous NaCl solution at a basic pH; separating said solubilised protein solution from solids; diafiltering said solubilised protein solution through an ultrafiltration membrane system using an aqueous NaCl diafiltration NaCl solution and at least 2 diavolumes of said aqueous NaCl diafiltration solution, diafiltering said NaCl-diafiltered protein; concentrating said purified protein solution; and drying said purified protein concentrate to obtain a protein isolate.

The invention relates to a method for extracting oil from seeds or fruits of oilseed plants, comprising a pressing step and a step of separating the oily and solid fractions, wherein at least a part of the seeds or fruit is moistened prior to the pressing step. The invention also relates to a device for implementing said method.
